The next chapter...

Hello friends and family. 

As some of you know I have been working on a photo booth business while in BIg Bear.  It's not 100% yet but the dream and my passion for what it can be has outgrown by ability to keep it too myself.

To be honest this came out of a chapter of my life that is now closed and though it may not be perfect it is the one and only thing I kept for myself. It's changed looks, and even has taken over the garages of both my Gma and my parents as I worked through the night focusing on it instead of the negative that filled my heart. 

I am so grateful for their love. My entire family has been patient with me as a broken heart can only be healed with love and patience. They did not force me to stop nor did they rush me to finish. And if it wasn't for this opportunity this weekend it may have even taken longer or possibly never happened at all. I know life has responsibilities that overshadow our dreams and our love for family and our financial future makes those dreams take a backseat. Well...God has a ironic way of removing things from your life that matter. But I know now that the only reason why HE removes the people and the things we love so much is to make sure there will be room for the next. 

Please believe me when I say this next part. The people and things that were removed were amazing, beautiful, thought provoking, and loving more than not.  But now I know having that much good over bad in my life forced my heart to stretch with love, and as I believe, allow for more room for something more amazing, loving, self-fulfilling, and meaningful than the last chapter. 

 I will be doing my first event for no other than www.Brainstorming4Us.com this Saturday morning for their 10th Annual Walk, Run, Roll 4 Thought. Im grateful to be invited by my Aunt, Lisa Moss, to be able to share the stories of these amazing survivors and caregivers while bringing a little fun and happiness to their day...even if it is a little cheesy :) Sometimes we need a reminder of what the good emotions feel like, even if Im too old to be doing this, does it really matter if it makes people happy?

So I invite you all to be a part of the next chapter. Who knows how long it will be or where it will go. Just know that it will only be filled with joy, hope, dreams, jokes, happy memories, and most of all…love.

The 10th Annual Walk Run or Roll 4 Thought - Victorville Ca.

Brainstorming 4 Us is holding our 10th Annual “Walk, Run or Roll 4 Thought 5K” to be held on March 19, 2016. Our goal is to raise awareness for Traumatic Brain Injury, Aneurysm, Stroke, Brain Cancer or any form of attack on the brain.

Our goals are but not limited:

Increasing public awareness of the incidence and the consequences of brain injury.

Support activities and legislation related to brain injury. 

To provide Brain Injury Resource Bag in trauma centers throughout California for distribution to families who are immediately introduced to brain injury by the well-known and dreaded "phone call." 

Provide support groups for survivors and caregivers of brain injury.

Educate the public, schools, police departments and the medical community on the reality of life after a brain injury.

Provide Resource Directory to families, and the medical community at a reasonable cost.

Speaking engagements or conference,

Our goal in 2016 is to raise $40,000 and to exceed 500 participants this year. You can help us achieve both goals by encouraging others to join you and participate while setting a personal goal to raise funds allowing Brainstorming 4 Us to help reach additional families who will need a lifetime of education, support and resources.
