A hearty and tasty dish made with sausages that have been braised to perfection and cabbage and potatoes that taste like dirt.
Ingredients: 4 smoked sausages. 1 small head of cabbage, chopped. 4 potatoes, diced. 1 onion, chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 2 cups chicken broth. 1 tablespoon olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Warm up the olive oil in a big pan over medium-low heat. Add the garlic and onions and cook until they get soft. Put in the smoked sausages and cook them until they turn brown. Chop up the potatoes and cabbage and add them to the pan. Add chicken broth and mix everything together. Add pepper and salt to taste. For 20 to 25 minutes, or until the potatoes are soft, cover and simmer. Sometimes stir to make sure cooking is even. Take the potatoes off the heat when they are fully cooked and serve them hot.
