x. ‘break up’ sex

They were never going to work in the long run, and Melanie had already accepted that fate. For Melanie, they felt more different than they were similar. Skylar was more open about everything and anything, while Melanie closed up the second anyone asked her about her personal life. Their relationship was kept behind close doors, just the way Melanie wanted it to be-- it was safe and comfortable for her. But even calling Skylar her girlfriend felt weird, since they never quite made anything official (unless Melanie completely missed something during their constant rendezvousing). Ripping the band-aid off felt like the best, and easiest, tactic, so Melanie just said what had to be said after she pushed her room service food away from where she sat, hands falling into her lap. “----- did you hear what I said?”

I have from dusk till dawn saved in my netflix list, just haven’t gotten around to watching it yet, but honestly damn he’s good looking so although I probably wouldn’t play him myself (yet) I’d definitely play opposite him. if the muse and the plot fit, obviously.

He was looking at her a little too intently, his attention unable to pull away despite the crowded party they always seemed to be in the middle of. Swallowing hard, the brunet leaned into her. "Bite your lip one more time." His voice was deep, deeper than usual, and right in her ear. He pulled away just enough to watch her face, his gaze alternating between her eyes and her lips.

she’s been in her own head for quite some time now, fingers strumming along her guitar with pauses every few moments to write something on the pad lying on the coffee table. it isn’t that she’s ignoring her girlfriend, despite not even greeting her once she was joined in the living room. morgan just can’t help but get lost sometimes, not wanting to break concentration even for a second when she thinks she might have something. and, considering times are rare whenever she feels something worthy to even try to jot down- the girl can’t help but stay focused. 

it’s only a minutes after that do her fingers finally cease playing what's beginning to sound like random and nonsensical chords, and her eyes tear from her guitar as well-- looking in alice’s direction and only now relaxing the furrow between her brows. fingertips tap a few times against the wood of the instrument before she’s finally moving it from her lap to set on the couch, moving to the separate one where her girlfriend is seated and sitting next to her. morgan stays quiet, but sets her head against the other’s shoulder, her silent and late ‘hello’ to the girl as her hands move to clasp one of alice’s between her own. for several seconds, she plays with her fingers, the calloused pad of her index finger tracing a cliche heart along the side of her hand.

Blinking a few times as her attention was brought back to the tutor sitting across from her, Zoe let out a low huff, eyebrows knitting together in frustration as her gaze met his, clearly not interested in continuing. “Look, I don’t want to be rude or anything, but this? This is hell, okay? I mean – honestly, this is no reflection on you and your work, but I’ve been fantasizing for the past ten minutes about all the ways I could use that textbook to knock myself out so I wouldn’t have to continue studying this.” As she perched herself on the edge of her seat, both hands clasped together over the table, a bit of a pleading tone laced into Zoe’s voice, expression somewhat hopeful once she spoke again. “Can we do something else for a while? Please?”

If Trevor were the kind of person to pay a bit more attention to his feelings, he might have been hurt when she called him and his work hell. ‘No offence’ rarely meant the receiving party would be less offended. Though brutal honesty was much preferred to sugar coating. If she were filled with excuses, this would most definitely be another story. “All right, Miss Lund,” he said quietly, holding back the sigh threatening to push through. “What sort of ‘something else’ were you thinking of occupying yourself with?” After all, breaks were good. Even the young man wasn’t completely immune to the harshness of studying for too long. It was why he had video games and tinkering. Something to give his mind a break.

her back is to ivy, working on something to eat most likely since she was in the kitchen but it isn’t like the brunette really cares about that. there’s better things to eat and what she’s thinking about  D E F I N I T E L Y  can’t be found in the refrigerator. sex had never been something this present on her mind until lina came into her life; it wasn’t rare that she went months without it before stumbling upon the blonde. now that she has, however, it’s like she can’t quite get ENOUGH. ivy now understands why people compare love to an addiction, and she’d be damned if she doesn’t get her fill. hands snake around her girlfriend’s waist, soft lips press a line of kisses along the back of a shoulder until she can nest her face into a warm neck. “mornin’,” she muffles between the kisses she begins to place there, her hands showing they weren’t planning to stay dormant as one of them slips to cup her gently, middle finger lazily dragging over lina’s underwear. “whatcha making?” the question comes out innocently, but the smile she hides in the girl’s neck is anything but. @bramares

          Ashby was nowhere near an expert when it came to dating apps. Nor did she find them enjoyable, honestly -- if anything she just felt cruel as she scrolled through guy after guy, the very few she actually swiped right to completely oblivious to the fact she wasn’t planning on being some hot one night stand. Or even messaging them in the first place. All tinder was to Ashby was a fun game to play while she waited to fall asleep. Something that fed what little ego she had, and brought the odd smile to her face. Blinking twice as a familiar face popped into view, her previously busy thumbs paused as she cautiously glanced over toward her sleeping friend. Ashby didn't really know the ‘rules’, when it came to seeing anyone you knew. And usually, she’d have probably exited the app without rating and asked said friend in the morning. But somehow, she figured the question ‘should I swipe right for your brother’ wouldn't be one the other girl felt like answering. His picture now hovered over the right side of the screen, her fingers dragging it before she gave it too much thought -- but he was a fairly nice guy from what she knew, and good-looking, so she’d consider that a compliment. Wouldn't she? Releasing, the picture disappearing with a green tick, she immediately figured it wouldn't really matter what her answer was anyway. Until, stopping her in her tracks, the screen changed again, a darker background with different text. ‘It’s a match’. “What the he--llo kitty,” she muttered under her breath, only narrowly saving herself from cursing.     @bramares
