me: man door hand hook car door
âNo, your ass is anything but innocent. You donât know that, a kiss could completely heal me. You wonât know if you donât try. I might stop distracting you if you kiss me.â
"So you admit you're distracting me. I already knew it. I also know that kissing booboos does literally nothing for said booboo. So. Try again."
âYou told me to sit down and I am, Iâm the innocent party here. But I do appreciate the nice meal, even though I want you to kiss me instead.â
"Innocent my ass... Your body needs a nice meal a lot more than it needs a kiss, despite what you think."
âBuenos dias, hermoso.â she giggles softly as she seeâs him still lying in bed. âI made you breakfast, but you look like the cutest little burrito and I donât want you to move.â Running around in just his t-shirt she was pretty much fully covered, but she didnât wanna scare the poor boy. He was seemingly innocent and she didnât want to ruin that entirely.
Voice. There was a voice pulling him from his slumber. One he didnât entirely recognize. It only took a few seconds for the headache to set in and Samuel slowly opened his eyes to see a brunette he only mildly recognized from the bar last night. Good job, Sammy. âMmnot cute,â he grumbled, slowly starting to move anyway. Another thing had indeed penetrated his brain, and that was the mention of breakfast. âFood?â
âIf you stopped looking at me, you wouldnât be seeing any distractions.â
"Really? You're going to blame the one trying to cook you a nice meal? That is so rude."
"Is that new? I haven't heard it before."
"I am trying to cook. Your distractions are not appreciated."
anyone want a small thing while I work though drafts?
Nolanâs eyebrows furrowed together as he heard the scolding tone in Faithâs voice and that was the last thing he wanted to hear. To him, this wasnât her fault. He was the one who was in a position of authority and he had gone against that because his desires had taken over for a second. He was meant to be helping her study so she could better her grades, and he didnât want that work to come undone because he had gone and kissed her. Nolan didnât understand why she was blaming herself then when he had been the one who had lent in, but he needed to put a stop to that, which is why he had grabbed her wrist. He wasnât going to let her go until they had talked about this. âNo, I will take the blame. You trusted me and I took advantage of the situation. I know that you would never tell anyone Faith, that didnât even enter my mind.â For whatever reason, he trusted Faith and unless someone had seen what had happened, he knew that no one would find out about the kiss they shared. Sure, he didnât want to lose his job, but he wasnât going to worry about that until he thought there was a reason too. As he looked down at her, he looked into her eyes, feeling like she could suddenly see into his soul for a minute, but then he was trying to work out what she was thinking too. He just wanted her to believe that this wasnât going to change anything between them, that he was going to still tutor her because he wasnât going to let this set her back after everything sheâd done to get to this place. Her education mattered more to him that his desires to kiss her again. Nolan followed her gaze as she looked at the door, and for a minute he was confused as to what she was doing then, but then she was talking hold of his shirt and pulling him down until their mouths met once more. This time he didnât hold back as his arms wrapped around her waist so he could pull her body right against his, and also so he could deepen the kiss further. If she wanted this, then he wanted this too, and he would work out all the possible problems after. It wasnât often that he let go and went after what he wanted, and he figured it was time for him to do that.
It was odd being fully swept into a kiss. Boys didnât take the time. Boys pressed their lips hastily into yours because they were trying to get to the next part. The what comes after. Faith would have to admit sometimes it was easier to give them⊠than wait for the touch that could make her feel this weak. Because boys didnât need to kiss like thisâŠbut neither did men. They just did. A soft hum of pleasure emitted from the back of the girlâs throat as she all but melted into him. In the back of her mind were still the thoughts, the doubts. How he was her professor. How she shouldnât be doing this. How wrong it was supposed to feel. But his arms around her felt nothing short of home. It wasnât something she got very often, and she would cling to it until her knuckles were white from holding on too tight.
Faith didnât know how long he let her kiss him because seconds were stretching into minutes in the most beautiful way possible. âIâŠâ she finally managed to sputter as she tore their lips apart, regretting the loss of contact immediately. In truth, she didnât even know what she was meant to say in this moment. All she knew was she felt she had to say something. Not an apology, because some things you were never sorry for. Not an excuse, because there were none to be had. âI t-think these study sessions are going to get a lot more interesting,â she managed to stutter, her lips pulling into a smile as she let out a quiet giggle.
Hands flattened against his chest as she let out a quiet sigh of content, the tip of her nose ghosting up the ridge of his until she could press a kiss against the end of his nose. If it stayed quiet a little too long, the doubts would seep back into her mind. Though they quickly fester into something much more dangerous than just worrying about getting him into trouble. Pressing her eyes shut tight, Faith tipped her head forward until her lips lined up with his. Another kiss, this time gentle and sweet, before sheâs pressing her forehead lightly against his. The arms around her still felt strong, safe. As if nothing could touch her⊠even her own self.
no place like ... | kaz and faith.
Kaz could see it now, his face pasted on the front page of the local newspaper: âKazmon Patterson, arrested for kidnapping his own daughterâ. His stomach was churning and he had visibly paled, but no, despite the confusion and uncertainty, he was not angry. âMore like terrified.â The man exhaled, reaching out to take Faithâs compact suitcase and ushered her inside of the small cabin. âBut I have to call your grandparents, you know that. Once I call themâthen we can talk.â He knew he had their phone number somewhereâŠ
Confusion once again took over the eight-year-oldâs features. How could he be terrified? She was just a little girl. Certainly he didnât think she would hurt him, even if she knew how. As he took her bag, Faith clasped her hands together in front of her and followed along behind her father. Some part of her did know his first move would have to be alerting the rest of her family she was safe, but a large part of her was still concerned it meant she would be quickly returned. Because of this, she couldnât find the words to verbally confirm her understanding and instead nodded solemnly.
âwell hurry up and get here so i can prove you wrong.â
"How long do you think it's gonna take you to notice I'm outside?"
â thatâs what those are? oh myâ i thought those were your attempts at birds or planes, â she teased, giggles bubbling over and falling to the ground. â maybe youâre a little delusional, pal. â as if illana could be talking. she barely tried with her own backgroundâ a typical 5-year-oldâs rendition of a house, pointed roof and all. â oh my goodness, no, this is the worst picture i think iâve ever tried making. itâs as if all my ability just died as soon as i put my pencil on this paper. â another laugh tumbling from her lips, hair falling into her face as she shook her head. maybe she amused by the otherâs words, but if she was truly serious, illana wouldâve possibly tried to create something that wasnât complete trash. â it should be enjoyed if youâre comparing it to a childâs. thatâs about it! â
âBirds or planes?â she repeated, forcing the words out during a renewed bout of giggles. Kaylyn leaned over just enough to get another look at her own drawing. Maybe from far away⊠if you didnât know what they were intended to be⊠But still, the blonde shook her head at Illana none-the-less. Though she couldnât say much as at least the other had put some effort into her background, even if it was minimal. Still more than Kay had done. âThis is not the worst picture,â she protested, clutching the sketchbook to her chest in an effort to protect the drawing that was so clearly an inanimate object and couldnât hear the insulting words being thrown at it. âAny drawing of me is clearly a masterpiece.â Kaylyn jutted her chin out in a prideful manner, all in good fun of course, and looked down her nose at the other. âI think youâve captured my essence in this drawing, and Iâll not have you speaking ill of it.â

âNo, I heard this one from the guys earlier,â he said, face scrunching as he tried to remember the joke. âItâs right on the tip of my tongue, but it made me laugh for a whole minute.â Then again, a lot of things could make Samuel laugh for that long. He was a man who enjoyed humor. âOkay, I got it. âHave you heard about the dude who had to have his left leg and left arm amputated after a car crash? â He's all right now.ââ
intimate - Danica/Maria because why not

Danica wasnât entirely certain who was happier Maria was out of the hospital⊠her or Maria. The little room they had been calling home had been the size of a tic-tac container by the end. But they were free, they were out, they were⊠in the park celebrating with matching cups of coffee. Dani had her legs crossed on the bench as she sat, her gaze moving from person to person as she took casual sips from the to-go cup. âYou remember that game we used to play,â she mused, watching a young woman attached to her cellphone cross in front of them. âHow we used to make up stories?â She was certain neither of them were ever right in their predictions⊠but it was still fun. âWhatâs⊠his story? The man with the dog.â
âI mean⊠Itâs not like itâs not English⊠Yeah. I get it though.â Jonathon understood what Aspen was saying, despite the fact that he felt the need to point out that she was at least a little wrong. Sure it was an English that was harder to understand, but it wasnât impossible. He watched as she flipped through, and he was glad she remembered something, even if it was just to show him how stupid it was. It made things easier if she had any vague interest and remembering something? That meant at least it was getting to her a little bit. âMm hm.â He nodded as she flipped through the book and began to sit back, admiring a little as she read through a line. She sounded good, even if she was having trouble grasping it. As she finished, he laughed, her reaction making him unable to focus a little. She was so god damn cute it was going to make him even worse a tutor than he already was. âUh, I guess thereâs like, a few reasons we donât just read versions that are translated into English we understand better, like first of all the way itâs written, like the iambic pentameter is important, and just⊠Like, everything about the way itâs written. Itâs beautiful yâknow? And itâs super easy to analyse like one sentence because he loves multiple meanings. It might help to have a few things translated but you donât get all of it if it isnât like this.â He explained, content with his answer.
As far as Aspen was concerned iambic pentameter could kiss her big toe⊠but if she was going to understand any of this, she supposed she would have to try and understand it a little bit. But really, stressed and unstressed syllables? Itâs like the writers back in the fifteen hundreds were trying to make things hard on themselves and hard on anyone who would come after them trying to understand their body of work. âAll right, so give me an example then,â she said, sliding her elbows forward on the table as she leaned into it. âFind something in this book thatâs all double meanings and beautiful and then Iâll shut up and listen to whatever you have to say.â She lifted her brow in challenge as she offered him the book in her hand despite knowing he already had one in front of him. She didnât actually know if sheâd be able to stop her complaining about Shakespeare entirely, but it was a good bet he would get her to at least play along if he could put his money where his mouth was, so to speak. âOtherwise youâre going to have to find me an app that can do all this translating for me, because I doubt youâd want to be on my speed-dial.â
