I’m practicing backgrounds by putting Bearpaw everywhere around the globe, starting simple with some grassy plains.

I’ve discovered that I hate drawing clouds. They are so difficult to draw realistically and simply because it’s hard to make their shapes and their spacing look natural. Grass is fine though, so are hills.

This was drawn from one reference and my goal is to eventually be able to draw an environment from my mind and piece it together with multiple references. Then in the end I can finally draw warrior cat clan camps properly.

Also I almost forgot happy new years everybody!!!!

A brief introduction to my fan Clans: BrambleClan, ReedClan, PetalClan, MossyClan, and NeedleClan. This is just a sketchy map of their territory. I’ll be posting lore before I share the cats’ profiles. Things like Clan symbols will likely change. Their territory takes place somewhere inspired by the Great Lakes. Nowhere specific. I hope to keep it accurate?

Fun facts:

- The “Twoleg Light” is just a lighthouse.

- BrambleClan overlooks the lake on a raised piece of land with lots of bushes. Their camp is a hollow in the ground with bushes around it.

- ReedClan is in a very marshy area. Their camp is on the driest ground they have. They fight with PetalClan over territory.

- PetalClan is marsh/field. Their camp is a hollow. They fight with ReedClan over territory.

- MossyClan is mess of stone, moss, and trees. They almost died out once. They have their camp in tunnels.

- NeedleClan is a sandy pine forest.

- The Gathering Place lets leaders speak from a pine tree.

- The Moon Cave is how cats commune with StarClan.

They cannot do this as warriors because 1. Shadodream’s eyes are no longer filled with joys whimsy and 2. It would give Frostcloud an aneurism attempted it.

This is when Frostcloud, Cloudpaw, and Shadowdream were young apprentices and they hadn’t gotten used to sleeping in separate nests in the apprentice den.

I love siblings in fiction so much that’s why power of three is the arc I reread the most. Hollyleaf my beloved murderer. Jayfeather my beloved time traveler. Lionblaze also my beloved murderer but less cool. His thing with Heathertail was interesting though. Imagine this guy you had a quick half clan friendship with nearly kills your mentor.

I know like almost every single female warrior cats protagonist are sisters (and that’s why I love dove and ivy too) but there’s not enough sibling trios in the series. Mothwing, tadpole and hawkfrost don’t count because tadpole dies. What are some other ones. FAKE FAN FAKE FAN I can’t remember.

Oh wait Frostpaw’s relationship with Mistpaw and Graypaw was pretty minor but also cute. I know ASC has been out for a while but I’m not spoilering their warrior names (UNLIKE THIS ONE YOUTUBE FROSTPAW AMV THAT HAD HER NAME IN THE TITLE THAT WAS RELEASED LIKE A WEEK AFTER HER NAME REVEAL). There’s this one scene where they all cuddle to sleep together after Curlfeather dies.

I love siblings. It’s even better when one of them dies. Cloudpaw, you’re it. And then the other siblings never truly recover from the loss and slowly drift apart.
