BrambleRoar can be viewed as a definition for fragile masculinity. His relationship with DaisyBloom may have started off as rocky, but he loved her. Even if he didn't show it in a comprehensible way. So when DaisyBloom revealed that the litter he's been looking so forward to, wasn't even his... That definietly made him bitter for the rest of his life. And he didn't hesitate to show it. Even though he didn't reveal this secret to the kits themselves, he always seemed to be distant and judgemental towards them. This especially showed when DaisyBloom's second litter, StarKit was born; BrambleRoar favored her immediately. But still, it wasn't enough... That's why he decided to help that strange kittypet.

And here he is; The talk of the town, the kittypet behind this all, the one who connects all these cats. At first glance, he may seem harmless. And he probably would be, if there wouldn't be some strange spirits, constantly whispering in his ear... But why is he doing all of this? Well, when he met a gentle, nice clancat, he felt like as if his life had been changed... Only for her to see him as a simple one night stand. And somehow this woke up something inside him; An ancient, instinctical desire for the "freedom" of being a clancat... Who knew that the yew bushes in his owner's garden would push him so close to his goal?
First, he met Sun and Moon. They were regulars at his garden, constantly picking berries, no one knew why. Until one day, Chester gathered all his courage, and told them that the bushes are his. The strangers seemed puzzled, but after a few silent glances, they asked him; What could they do, for him to allow them to keep picking berries? Well, Chester had quite a few ideas. But he decided to go with the one that some strange, broken figured suggested to him in a dream; He decided to ask them to join "the Clan", and spy on them for him. He didn't know that SunClan was not the only Clan, and neither did the rogues. So they joined LeafClan, told him everything they saw and heard. He wasn't quite satisfied, but he kept his promise to them.
Then he met CinnamonCloud, a clancat who was way too far away from her own territory. Only CrystalClan knows what she was looking for, but she found Chester. And Chester, who recognised her from the stories his pals told him earlier, and told her that he has exactly what she might be looking for. CinnamonCloud, as always, was cautious of him... But curious as well. So she decided to do as he says; Keep an especially close eye on SunClan.
And lastly, he met BrambleRoar. Another clancat, who was certainly upset about something he did not want to talk about. Refusing to talk to Chester, he immediately jumped through the fence, and rushed towards the yew bushes. But this time, the kittypet catched up to him to stop him, and demanded to know why is everyone so interested by the bushes. And after the warrior, slightly annoyed, explained the purpose of so-called "deathberries" to him, a whole new room of possibilities opened up before his eyes... And with that, he offered BrambleRoar this unlimited supply of yew berries, in exchange for a teeny-weeny small thing; A chance to talk with the kits he just found out about.
