Welcome to Cogclan AU
(Where I infodump about my Corporate Clash/Warrior Cats crossover au. With art!)
The basic plot: The forest used to have five clans, living entirely separate lives much like how the clans are in canon warrior cats. However, one clan's leader Bigstar (aka the chairman, yes he's still small the name is very ironic) supposedly had a vision and decided that he must unite all the clans and bring them to greatness. He became the sole leader of the newly formed Cogclan, which is divided into the five sub-clans of Cashclan, Sellclan, Lawclan, Bossclan, and Boardclan*. Bigstar is the only leader, but there is a deputy that acts as a leader for each clan.
(*No, the cats would not call them that but we're going with the logic of "it's translated for easy understanding".)
In response to Cogclan taking over the entire forest and expanding territory, a few loners, kittypets, and other animals beyond just cats started to form their own clan, Toonclan. Except I don't focus on them at all in this post cause I only care about the managers /j
I'm doing these in order of the area each manager is in, so here's Duck Shuffler! His warrior name is Duckfeather. Although the clans have merged, there's still some conflict within them, some worse than others. This guy got his head cracked open on a rock and hasn't really been the same since. (Also I totally forgot his face stripes on the head refs but we're gonna ignore that.)
Brian is a sphynx cat, a former kittypet who was spoiled as hell. Kept his name cause he liked it. Wrinkly and bald.
I'm gonna be honest, William is the guy I had the least ideas for, which is why his information section is so blank. I do like his patterns though.
Deep Diver! I gave her battle scars because I figured he would have a few, and the one across her face sort of looks like his helmet grates.
Misty's one of my favorite characters, and I'm really happy with how she looks as a cat. Yes she gets two Boardclan girlfriends in warriors au because the Cogclan merge means she's not "technically" breaking the warrior code anymore.
If it weren't for my friend who really likes Alton, I wouldn't have as many ideas for him. He's supposed to be kind of lanky, and likes to dig when he gets the zoomies. Some cats dislike the Cogclan takeover more than others, but Haycrow is definitely on the side of "big fan of the Cogclan takeover".
The sub-clans do have a sort of hierarchy, with Boardclan being at the top, Bossclan right below that, and the other three at the bottom on relatively equal ground. After the Cogclan takeover, it wasn't uncommon for Bigstar to move promising warriors to Boardclan or Bossclan to keep a closer eye on their progress. Silverstone grew up in Lawclan with Rainfur, but as soon as they became warriors, Bigstar moved her to Boardclan. She doesn't get along well with Anglerdive (at first) but upon catching her and Rainfur meeting one night, decides that she can let this one thing slide. Also all cats keep their canon speech quirks, so yes, this cat talks in medieval english.
Remember how I said the cats had a variety of feelings about Bigstar's takeover? Well, Prester is not happy about it. Someone's gotta wear the badge of "cat conservative" and it's this guy. He's meant to be a black cat who's fur looks red in the right lighting, but coloring be hard.
Last of this bunch we have the PRR! Brought up the suggestion that maybe Toonclan could be reasoned with and maybe befriended. Was promptly exiled and trapped in a cave. Similar to Rock from canon warriors, just doing a lot worse. No they're not going to die, I'd feel too bad because that's my friends blorbo.
