Some basics to making your own brows, freckles, and shapes, below the cut!

First, you need to make the whole canvas transparent! 

Then, change the preview so you can see the little face! It’s REALLY helpful to see!

When designing facepaint, the middle line is NOT the middle of the face, rather it shows where the canvas will spit amongst the forehead, and the cheeks! Especially for the cheeks, closer to the middle is where you’ll want to put stuff so it shows up!

Here are your basic cutey- small brows! I tend to make them the same or one shade darker than my hair color.

And flipped in blue!

And then have fun with it! Add length, scars, freckles, shaped blush!

For each of the colors below, if you want your brows etc to be slightly darker, drop the brightness down a step or two!

|| A guide to color matching each skin tone! ||

The pattern color is seen as face paint and a basic design shirt in the images, but when choosing the final color,

I aired on what I thought looked best on the shirt

(since we can have transparent patterns on the face!)

I used these two colors, and tried to focus on creating shadows! I tried to mimic some of the shadow casting patterns seen in my character’s footprints (see the header image!) and then really had fun with it from there. 

If you’re nervous, just use the darker color and it will look great!
