“Kitsitting”
Echoheart is one of those guys who isn’t a big fan of kits. He loves his own and was a great father to them, but often finds himself regretting when he agrees to kitsit for his younger brother Blackwing.
Okay my BIG question: Who is the father of Doecall's kits? BUT I would love to hear anything you want to share on Doecall and her littermates - they are very cute and some of my favorite lil background kitties!
-To answer your BIG question: Doecall's kits were sired by her outsider mate. Doecall was extremely trusting and naive of others, and met a much older tom when she was younger. The two got together fast, and Doecall told him she was expecting. He panicked, worried that he'd get in trouble for fooling around with a younger cat, and attacked her. Doecall ran away, and tried to recover in the clan, but her wound festered fast and resulted in her death. I still have to draw her mate. 👀
-As for info on Doecall and her littermates, here's some facts about them! I actually REALLY like them myself:
Doecall was ALWAYS smiling. Even when sad or in pain most cats can report that they've never seen her frown.
Stagstripe is selectively mute! He talks in a very low, very soft voice when he does speak.
Fawneye was named after Fawnspring. Moonsong knows how much she meant to Violetstar and wanted to appease her by naming a kit after a cat she liked.
Stagstripe is a gentle giant. He's also one of the most attractive cats in the clan according to everyone else.
Doecall, Stagstripe, and Fawneye all like Specklepaw and Marshpaw and see them as their brothers. They also still like Moonsong despite the affair.
Doecall had a crush on Wolfstep, Pearfur's son. He was her best friend. He rejected her because of the age gap between them being a personal squick of his but now he deeply, deeply regrets it. He feels like if he'd said yes he could've kept her safe.

Many many moons ago Starclan USED to be just some guy So did Darkforest
Their names were Starchaser and Darkforest. Back then the clans existed, but no afterlife did. When you died, you just roamed the earth aimlessly.
They were in a forbidden relationship, got caught, and killed their daughter and each other during a gathering in protest. At that moment an event happened called…Uhh…Insert placeholder event name here. The sky turned a deep red, and the spirits of cats thought to be long gone came from the earth. Some went up into the sky, following Starchaser's spirit, and the evil cats went into the ground, following Darkforest's spirit. Some cats, including Mysterykit's spirit, simply vanished.
They all got control over their own afterlives. Starclan controls StarClan so that cats who deserve peace and justice are rewarded.
Darkforest controls the Dark Forest so that the evil souls in the world get the punishment they deserve and feel the pain they felt.
Mysterykit was given her own place, the Unknown Residence, to welcome the spirits who either didn't deserve StarClan or the Dark Forest, or to allow cats in who simply chose not to be in any afterlife and continue to live as a ghost.

Some cats that stick out to me are Aspenfern (cold design and probably related to Aspen), Hollowmoon (Sick name and design), Gravelpatch (pretty purple flowers) and Foxfire (Vibes)
THEN LET'S RAMBLE ABOUT ALL FOUR OF THEM!! Starting with Aspenfern, here's his bio:
He's the son of Briarburn and Berrysnow, littermate of Scrublily, and the older brother to Fennelbreeze and Pythonsnap. You're right that he's related to Aspenfall, he's his grandson!! And fun fact: HE WAS BORN ON THE MOON ASPENFALL DIED.
He's an arrogant tom and a little bit of an asshole. He hates being compared to Aspenfall, especially because he feels he looks and acts nothing like him. He does have a crush on Spiderheart, though...Who he claims he hates...Hmmm...
Next is Hollowmoon!
Hollowmoon is the kit of Fireflypool and Echoheart, and the littermate of Nightsoar, Spiderheart, and Pumpkinpounce. They're a cheeky cat, and they like to use their mediation skills to stir up trouble within their clanmates.
They're devastated that their littermate Pumpkinpounce is a murderer, especially because they're one of the closest cats to himand love him deeply. If Pumpkinpounce were exiled, Hollowmoon would probably exile themself just to stay by his side...
Next up is Gravelspeck <3
Gravelspeck is the daughter of Leafheart and Daisysun, littermate to Rubblepounce, and the older sister of Sundaisy. She was named after the fact that her mom, Daisysun, ate gravel.
Gravelspeck is...A complicated girl. She cares so deeply about her family and clan, but at the same time...If she's angry at someone, her grudges are so horrible that they lead to her lashing out and turning into a cruel cat. That's what happened when she found out her mother, Daisysun, died giving birth to her younger brother Sundaisy. Gravelspeck resented Sunkit, and her resentment only grew when Hopestar gave her Sunpaw as an apprentice. Despite that, she forced herself to suck it up and mentor him anyways.
She's the mate of Ashenbranch and the two of them have two kits together: Pikekit and Vinekit. Gravelspeck adores her mate and kits and would kill for them if she had to. Her best friend in the clan who isn't a relative is Sprucedawn. <3
Finally, Mr. Foxfire!
Foxfire is the son of Mallowcloud and Streamfire, the littermate of Fogtail, and the younger brother of Mothwhisker, Riverpaw, Rippleoak, and Sleepybloom.
Foxfire is...He's a himbo. A big one. He's strong and buff and super handsome..But cats have said he has pebbles for brains. He's a dimwit. Despite this, a lot of cats find him lovable and easy to get along with. Maybe it's the trauma from losing multiple siblings and both parents...Hmm.
He doesn't have a mate or kits yet, but he does have a bit of a crush on Mudpoppy. His best friend in the clan is Snailspring, the deputy!! <3
