Tommy this, Tommy that, but no one asks how is Tommy, you know? Like how is he keeping up with Buck's pace, people are asking about Tommy's intentions with Buck but what about Buck's intentions with Tommy? Where IS TOMMY"S SUPPORT? Who did he go to before he met Buck you know?
I really liked what Lou said in some of his Cameo videos, about Tommy being a loner. Especially after he leaves the 118.
His scenes in Bobby Begins Again really speak to him being at least friendly with Hen and Chimney (though I choose to read that he and Chimney had a tighter friendship somewhat founded in Chim saving Tommy's life and a shared love of movies). And we don't know what his friend circle has been since. He says he's jealous of the 118 family unit, which makes me believe that he might have friends but not anything like that.
I also want to believe that post BBA, Sal got himself back on track to be a captain. And I hope that (after checking his pride) Sal and Tommy were able to still be friends. It's the "everyone gets to grow and be better" show, so I would like to see that represented in another former 118er. (Gerrard can rot, even if I do hope his plot line is more interesting than him being solely to everyone 🤢)
But yeah, 911! Tell us who else is in Tommy's corner. Who did he talk to after that awful first date with Buck? Who gave him a hard time that he and Buck's 2nd date was going to be Madney's wedding? Gimme the deets!
