I finally styled the Sasha I got from MGA months ago as a replacement for the ones I got on Amazon, so far this is the best one I’ve gotten, with my last replacement from Amazon coming in second! I’m going to have the other Sasha’s paint fixed and get her rerooted with a side part, I’ll probably add extra hair to this one since she’s super thin in back. I still think this collection is largely trash and a hugely missed opportunity, the quality is low in comparison to older Bratz ESPECIALLY in comparison to the Party 2010 line (which is Hayden’s favorite line and clearly the inspo for this one), along with the ridiculous price tag, the poor use of shoe molds and poor execution of the sketch designs, the body is crap etc, but I at least wanted one good Sasha and I’m happy I have her. Sasha is the only doll in the collection with a nuanced screening and makeup; the rest are too bright (Yasmin) or the eye makeup has harsh lines and poor color choices, especially if you look at the 2010 dolls that have, what...six layers of JUST eyeshadow and a perfect fade while these have 1-2 layers tops. Anyway Sasha is the only one with makeup that compliments her skintone and seemingly has any thought put into it, and I genuinely love her face. Her clothes however...yikes. Those pants are severely lacking in detail and her dress is twice as large as it should be. The bodysuit is nice at least, and her little orange bolero is fun. They also sent me Cloe and Yasmin; Cloe is the best I’ve gotten so far, and I plan on sending her for a reroot with Champagne blonde like her prototype (which I prefer to the white she has in production) and some facial enhancement so her eyeshadow looks a little more detailed. Yasmin is passable but I only wanted her clothes anyway so w/e lmao. Sadly Pixiez/Star Singerz Sasha is really hard to come by, so she’ll have to wait a while before I can make a hybrid body for her.
