Have the house to myself for the weekend and Yesterday I had to go to the bank, so I decided to hit up the thrift store for dolls since it’s across the street. I saw a few dolls I almost got like a Tyco Ariel, a 2010′s skipper in Disney Store anna clothes (really only considered her for her outfit), an applause Belle doll in box (opened) in really good condition, and a Bratz Style Starz Cloe sans jacket missing her wigs (would’ve gotten her if she had one)
But I ended up leaving with these 4: An 80′s Barbie with really long Hair, who looks like she should have bangs but doesn’t (and her head is smaller than most 80s Barbies I’ve seen, rock hard, and might be shrunken??)
another 80s Barbie with really soft hair
a Bratz doll (Cloe?), who’s actually my first Bratz doll and first MGA Doll
and a Bratz Boy with fierry red hair.
Spent most of the 2nd half of yesterday cleaning them up and working on their hair. I think they came out pretty good. I might try to cut some bangs on Long hair 80s Barbie since her current hair cut makes her forehead look big. Not sure what to do about short soft hair 80s Barbie. Cloe Looks like she might’ve had bangs but they were cut, also might need a hot hair fix to flatten her hair, and the Bratz boy’s face is still hella dirty and I need to wash it off some more
First impressions of the Bratz Dolls since this is my first time having one. I REALLY Like them now (especially cloe) I never realized how small their bodies are, and I REALLY Appreciate how nice their clothes feel. Also while I still think the removable shoe feet is a weird idea, it works well and i’ve come to really like it. The shoe feet look more natural in terms of actually looking like someone in shoes as opposed to barbie usually, and it also lets the girls wear sneakers and the boys wear high heels.
Overall I’m Pretty Happy with these 4 and I can definitely say i’m a Fan of Bratz now (for the longest time I was indifferent/kinda not into them)
