Cally just returned in time to open the shop with a basket of fresh flowers in her arms when spotting a young man in front of the window, obviously waiting to be let inside. “Good morning,” she greeted, a gentle smile on her face while she was unlocking the door. “The shop is open now, you can come in, if you wish to.”

At some point, when the sunlight was tickling his face, Jack was waking up again, unsure what exactly had happened the night before. There were flashes of memories, though.... he and Will fighting some of the infected in this bar, drinking together and then.... kissing each other. He cleared his throat, blinking several times, unsure if he wanted to check if Will still was with him now, laying in this bed all naked as well.

“Boomer, can you just not... Boomer, no!” In the end, Blossom had decided to keep the little pup, and, after everything had turned back to normal, she of course wanted to train him a little as well - which ended up with the booth of them falling into the fountain next to the Mall.

“Boomer.... why did you do that to me now?”

Of course everyone in this fucking city had to go fucking insane again. And, of course Jack wasn’t effected, watching everyone and wishing he could have another drink. Or just hop onto a boat and leave DC for good.

“Aye,” he exclaimed, knocking out a man with his empty bottle of beer as he spotted Will. “Ya should be more careful, lad. Everyone here decided to go crazy once more. Fucking bullshit....”

Jack was outside at the beach. It was his free day, and he had decided to borrow one of Will's swords and to train a little. Wearing only jeans he stood there between the sand dunes, just having a little break and taking a few sips from his water bottle. Yes, no alcohol this time. Not as long as he was wearing a sword.

Jack said nothing. When spotting Ianto finally coming home, he pulled the other by his shirt and pulled him into a feverish kiss. Tired of tip-toeing around, the immortal captain finally wanted to make his what already belonged to him, anyway. And he wanted it here and now. Which meant he wouldn’t exactly ask Ianto if he was okay with being kissed this time.
