“Well, that’s rude but I love you too.” Michael grinned, tugging Alex close and pressing a kiss to his lips. “But really, if I’m a dumbass then you’re a dumbass for falling in love with me.”
send the thing for our muses to wake up married || @bravery-sought
Michael wakes up and his head is pounding. It had been a few years since Michael had woken up hung over as hell after a heavy night of drinking. Michael knows that he blacked out after a certain point. He knows this because he’s currently in Alex’s bed and he’s wearing clothes and Alex is laying right next to him, fully clothed as well.
It was pride celebration at Planet 7 and Isobel had dragged him and Alex to celebrate. He knows Kyle was there with her. Maybe Liz and Maria had also tagged along for the fun? That is still a little groggy. He knows there was a lot of alcohol. One that he kept lacing all night. He knows that Isobel made him dance or perhaps it was Alex? He remembers someone made him dance because of all the Uranus jokes that Michael was doing. That was the payback. “Oh, fuck.” Michael stretches his whole body out, letting out a groan in the process.
He’s never drinking like that ever again.
Once he’s done, Michael crawls on over towards his boyfriend and lays on top of him. “Wake up.” He mutters, trying to shake Alex awake. That’s when his eyes glance over towards the hand that’s laying flat out on the mattress and there’s a RING on *that* finger. “Alex, this is no fucking joke. Wake the fuck up. “NOW.” He says, pushing back on the mattress. Oh hell there’s a ring on his finger too. “We got fucking married?!?????” He yelled, not even bothering to check if Alex was already awake or not.
Yep, he’s never drinking like that ever again. EVER. He is also never going to go out and party with Isobel ever again.

Carly typed for a moment on the table Isobel had gotten her for a moment before the electronic voice read out, “There’s no proof I had anything to do with your dad’s statue getting trashed, no matter what Uncle Max says.” After all, street cameras didn’t catch her spray painting the statue of Jesse Manes. . . That didn’t mean she hadn’t used her powers to push someone else to do it, but again, Max couldn’t prove anything.

“I’m kind of scared to ask how you know that,” Forrest replied a smirk. He was curious but he wasn’t sure he wanted the answer to his curiosity. “Is this a hint that we need to go to the zoo?”
He’s been trying to move away from using alcohol as a crutch. He likes to think he’s even been making some progress with it, but some nights are harder than others and he just gives in.
Will sits quietly at the kitchen table, a tumbler filled with three fingers of cheap whiskey in his hand. A worn copy of Frank Herbert’s Dune sits open in front of him, but his mind is moving at a million miles per second and he can’t focus on the words. Even Winston curled up dutifully at his feet isn’t much comfort. At least he isn’t dissociating, he thinks glumly.
Swallowing another desperate swallow of amber liquid, he considers going back to bed. It might be helpful to snuggle up next to Alex, but Will doesn’t want to risk waking him with his restless tossing and turning, so he stays where he is.

It was a tense face-off. On one end was James C.onrad, former RAF pilot and current tracker. On the other was B.uffy, a chubby beagle. When he arrived in Roswell to visit an old army friend of his, he didn’t think he’d be caught up in another confrontation.
Still, it was a pretty adorable confrontation.
“Hey, does she know the meaning of ‘stay’ and ‘heel’?” He glanced at Alex over his shoulder, stepping back when he heard the dog move.
“I know.” Michael smiled faintly, reaching to Alex’s hand and tugging him closer. The cold, almost sterile environment of Deep Sky’s base was offset by the warmth of Alex’s body. Michael pulled him close and wrapped his arms around the airman’s waist, nuzzling into his neck. “Neither am I.”
