Baby, look at me and tell me what you see; you ain't seen the best of me yet, give me time and I'll make you forget the rest.
The blonde remembers the final applause like it was yesterday; she lived for theatre and the role of Jenny had been perfect for her. Before the curtain closed she remembered spotting a familiar face. It belonged to someone she didn't expect to see in the auditorium at all, let alone watching a two hour performance out performing arts. Most people in theatre club were sort of afraid of her, but that wasn't the case for Marlene. She thought Lynn needed someone to be the polar opposite of her, and since she naturally was that person, she stuck around.
❝Hey, Lynn, why were you at the theatre last week? You should have come see me after! ❞
She knew she shouldn't ask, but she was curious and even though she knew this could end badly, she wanted an answer, anyway.

"I think that being a blonde is a disadvantage in Dauntless," the girl spoke with a frowned forehead. She looked up from her book for a second and sighed. "Do you think I should color it?" She shook her head. "Your hair is amazing, you know." Way to be obvious, Marlene.

❝Uriah is not home right now, dear, but he should be soon. Do you want to come inside and wait?❞
"Are you okay?"
Something has been different with my muse recently. Send “Are you okay?” To see what is up with them.
Six days ago. It had happened six days ago. The memory was vivid, persistent.. it would not leave her thoughts for a second. The siren had been weak. She had done what was expected of her and failed to hold herself back. What exactly had she been through? Sylph had decided never to speak of it, ever. That was.. until Lynn came along and, being the first person to ask if she was okay, caused the small prison to collapse and the truth came out before the teen could even think of lying.
"I’m not." Those first words weren’t very alarming. It did not give away what damage she had inflicted, what undeniably horrible things she had done. But then, Sylph confessed everything. "I killed someone. I killed a human. I-I didn’t want to.. but I did. He was in the water.. He was bleeding.. or maybe I hurt him and caused the bleeding. I don’t know.. I don’t want to know. All I know.. is that he’s dead and I killed him.”
As words spilled out, an unstoppable train of vague but correlating sentences, tears started streaming down her cheeks. Surely, Lynn wouldn’t trust her now that she had admitted her sins. She regretted every word the moment it came out of her mouth, but she couldn’t quit until she finished what she started.
