On 18.07, we will receive Mateus Fazeno Rock who presents the album "Jesus Ñ Voltará" with his full band. Tonight he also invites Don L, Jup do Bairro, Fernando Catatau, Brisa Flow and Mumutante to participate in this special show. Raised in Sapiranga, a neighborhood in Fortaleza, Mateus is the founding and creative link of Fazeno Rock, a powerful cultural production network formed by artists linked to favela rock. The project seeks to counteract the hegemonic ways of creating rock under the influences of grunge, punk, funk br, rap, reggae/dub and r&b. Currently, Mateus Fazeno Rock is on tour in support of his second album "Jesus Ñ Voltará". Winner of the APCA Award in the Revelation category, Mateus Fazeno Rock releases the Deluxe version of the album "Jesus Ñ Voltará", which appears on the list of the best of 2023 in several press outlets. In addition to songs that are already hits such as the title track, "Pode Ser Easy", "Pose de Malandro" and "Nome de Anjo", the album, which has feats with Jup do Bairro, Brisa Flow, Big Léo, Má Dame and Mumutante gains a bonus track, "Madrugada". Composed by Mateus, the track is produced by DJ and producer Brunoso. "This song came from my process of getting close to Brunoso. He spent a season in Fortaleza and it was right at that time that I wrote this track. Although my compositions are always connected with what I'm experiencing, this one ended up being left out of the album and releasing it now makes perfect sense, almost like another little portal that opens, a new path within the same idea" – explains Mateus. The lyrics talk about a person who in a difficult moment of life connects with his ancestors. "Jesus Ñ Voltará – Deluxe" is Mateus Fazeno Rock's first on the Deck label. While preparing for the launch, they continue to tour Brazil.
