A lot of the beings mentioned in the Dream Quest are barely described if they even get more than a name-drop. As I generally try to avoid Chaosium canon, that gave me a lot of freedom to do whatever I wanted.

The sniflunk is a particular case. It's almost entirely original, only known from the story by the mysterious webbed footprints surrounding Carter's exsanguinated riding zebra.

Jaune: Sorry I'm late! I just woke up.

Girl: Oh, my hero! Thank you for saving me, Rwby!

Jaune: ...Her. She's Ruby.

Girl: But... The show is called RWBY, named after the hero, RWBY. And you are the hero.

Jaune: Huh... That is some sound logic. Am I Rwby?

Ruby: Wh- NO! Just... No!

Jaune: (Impersonates) It's also a gun~!

Ruby: ...Okay, that was pretty good.

Cryptid of the Day: Wamp

Description: A Wamp is a creature the size of a raccoon with a grey, bag-shaped body and a hollow tail with a salt shaker at the end of it. It goes around shaking salt onto trees, where deer will lick up the salt. So if you see a deer licking the ground, there might be a Wamp nearby.
