after knocking on brooke’s door, she leaned against the doorway before crossing her arms and tilting her head. ❝what’s up with you lately? i probably should have said something before taking off and disappearing for a few days, but i just needed to get out of town for a bit. i needed something new and different, i guess.❞

i would just say be honest with me. this relationship isn’t going to work if you’re not being honest.  also, i hog the blanket so please plan accordingly if you’re/i’m going to come over.

[ ✿ ] my muse attempts to cook dinner for your muse. [AU]Her jaw dropped. It was in a shambles. And that was saying a lot for Liam considering he always had a messy room. The Pi Tau kitchen looked like a literal war zone -- dirtied pots, pans and bowls everywhere; utensils all over the counter and the ground somehow; what Brooke could only assume used to be a chicken but now a charred, blackened lump on a pan on the stove top. The cherry on top of it all was Liam. He stood there with a white powder all over his hair and smudged to his cheek. His apron had at least four different sauces and oils spilt onto it. All he could do was stand there, staring at the blonde, a genuine frown and sad look in his eyes. “Sorry,” he gave, worried that Brooke would be disappointed in him. Then, the last thing he expected to happen. happened. Brooke simply threw her arms around his neck and pulled him in for a kiss, a slight laugh escaping her lips as she did so. “You’re still amazing,” she whispered to him when they pulled apart, and that’s when Liam knew. Brooke was the only person who still found him amazing despite his faults. She was the only person who ever loved him despite all his shortcomings. Even in a room he destroyed, she still managed to have a smile for him, and only him. That’s when he knew he didn’t want to go a moment in his life without her. [flash forward a year or two]“Then ... the rest is history, I guess,” Liam shrugged with a grin. “That’s kinda when I knew... And after we spent the night cleaning up the kitchen and eating crackers for dinner, I got up the next morning and started planning. Asked Archie for some help, he helped me start looking for engagement rings -- you know the rest,”. A slight tinge of red shaded his cheeks as their friends and family ‘Aww’d’ and clapped around them. Liam kept his arms around Brooke, pressing a soft kiss to her cheek.
