Under the Willow Tree - for bre-sizzle -
I sat on the couch in my flat and flipped through the channels on the tv. My boyfriend of two years today is still out on tour. He's half way across the world celebrating our anniversary with a million girls who are throwing themselves at him. I sighed to myself at the thought, trying to find something good to watch. I settled on watching Ellen, smiling as I saw her dancing through the crowd.
I eventually made myself a hot bowl of oatmeal, sitting back down onto my warm couch and letting our dog, Mittens, sit next to me on the couch. Don't be fooled, because he is a large German Shepherd. He put his head in my lap and looked up at me, his big brown eyes looking sad. "I miss him too." I whispered, patting the top of his head and eating more of my oatmeal.
"BRE! Come with me, now!" Someone yelled, walking into my flat. I turned to see my good friend Danielle. "But... I'm in my pajamas still." I said, frowning as she pulled me up off the couch. She looked at me and bit her lip. "Fine, get ready." She said, huffing and sitting on the couch in my spot, petting Mittens.
I came back out in a nice but casual outfit to see an impatient Danielle pacing through my living room. "Finally!" She cried, rolling her eyes at me and dragging me out of Lou and I's flat and down to her car.
She drove for a few minutes before she jumped out and urged me to follow her quickly. "Dani, what the hell are we doing!?" I snapped, starting to get a little impatient and angry with her. "Just come! You'll thank me later!" She said, grabbing my hand with the biggest smile ever on her face. I sighed, letting her drag me through the park in the center of the city.
"Why are we here?" I asked Dani softly, remembering that this is where I - literally - bumped into Louis for the first time. He knocked us over under the willow tree while running away from fans and smiled at me, laughing a bit.
"I'm so sorry," He said to me, helping me up. "It's fine," I said, brushing the grass off my shirt. He said "bye" before running off. Three days later I decided to go read in the park, only to find him sitting in the exact place where we bumped into each other. He ran over to me with a huge smile, saying that every day he came hoping to see me again.
"Um, well, you'll see." Dani said, still dragging me through the park. With a frown set on my face she continued to drag me until we were under the willow tree. Dani stopped and smiled at me. "Stay here," She instructed before running off.
"What the fuck, Dani!?" I called out, now extremely angry that she dragged me here for nothing. I shook my head, turning and about to head back home when I bumped into someone. We both ended up on the ground and I looked at the other person to see my beautiful boyfriend smiling down at me.
"I'm so sorry," He said to me, helping me up. "It's fine," I said, smiling a bit at the memory that he just recreated. I half expected him to say, "bye" then run off but he didn't. His arms stayed at my waist and he smiled widely at me.
"I missed you so much." He said, hugging me tightly. "I missed you too." I whispered in his ear, kissing it after. "How much?" He asked, pulling away to look at me.
"What do you mean how much? With every fiber of my being. I can't even describe how much..." I trailed off with a slight blush on my face. He smiled widely and kissed me lightly.
He let go of my waist and my smile fell a bit. He knelt down in front of me and I looked at him weirdly. He pulled something out of his pocket and held it in his palm.
"Then marry me?" He asked, holding his hand out. In the middle of his palm was a gorgeous diamond ring. I smiled widely, tears now starting to fall out of my eyes.
"Of course, Lou." I said, pulling him up by his suspenders and pressing my lips against his passionately. "Yes, yes. Yes, I'll marry you." I said, smiling widely. He wiped my cheeks and kissed me again. He pulled away after a second and slipped the ring onto my finger.
"I love you so much, Breanna." Louis said to me, wrapping his arms around me and pulling me tightly against him. "I love you too, Louis." I said, winking at him and kissing him again.
