My second Too Good To Go haul - this one was much better value than my first. That paper bag is a huge focaccia.
I vaguely remember looking at the app years ago (or was it a similar app, also looking to reduce food waste?), but there wasn’t really any stores locally using it so my interest fizzled. At the same time @violent-violence posted about it, my sister also picked up her first surprise bag. There’s still not a huge number of stores on it locally, but a lot more in the CBD around my work.
Anyhow - this was good value for $9.99, and F is pumped because bread and bread-adjacent products are some of his favourite things as a bottomless-pit / active / growing 13yr old boy.
(And as an aside - Baker’s Delight give away so much - they donate heaps to the local Food is Free / community cupboard, donate to local schools and other organisations for fundraising sausage sizzles, and plenty of others, and all of their stores also seem to be on Too Good To Go).
