Relating hard to my failed bread (nice enough but empty inside)
First bread of the season was not a success. Looks pretty, feels like a brick. Good taste, terrible texture. Maybe underproofed or old yeast.

This is what happens when you forget to add the yeast!
Making bread didn't go too well lol
Still not the worst one I've ever made. The one I made at school was just a lump 😅.
Still gonna eat it. Didn't go through all that to just not eat it. After 5 minutes of research I've discovered that dense bread has historically been both a delicacy and a food for poor working class people (like oysters). I am a poor working class person, I think most delicacies are stupid and it took me hours to make this so I'm eating it.
I'll try again next week anyway.
Random sidenote - this gif came up when I searched 'trying again'. It's from Casper the Friendly Ghost 😃! Loved this movie as a kid!
Well this was an obvious success.
Bread was a disaster
However, this may be because I'm missing a piece of my bread machine and didn't realize it. Will try again.
So the cinnamon bread was stupid and didn't do the thing bread is supposed to do so we try again tomorrow.
I am such a good cook. Look at that consistency!
