I don't post about GBBO much here but Abbi getting sent home this week really got me pissed off! Her foraging was so cool and creative, and she put so much work into her tree showstopper; those mushrooms were so cute. She had done well every other week and would have probably had a real shot at winning the whole thing, and would've written such a cool cookbook. And instead the dude who doesn't even bake half of his showstopper gets to stay? Wtf

Week 3: Devonshire splits

It was a relief to make something that needed no special equipment. Unlike the last two, these were actually quite relaxing to bake.

Some of the buns came out... less than beautiful (I just can't get the hang of shaping dough), but once filled they all looked nice.

I'm also really proud of how smooth I got the cream filling.

hysterical that prue is having NOTHING that paul is setting as a technical challenge this season. she refuses to eat anything that makes her look messy, was absolutely baffled by the smores, and im still not over her “THIS ISNT BREAD” at the pain aux raisins during bread week

When Prue said “I just love Bread” on bread week, I felt that
