What recipe do you use for your sourdough discard cookies, or is there one? I looked but couldn't find anything if you already mentioned it, I don't know if that's Tumblr or me. Hungrily yours; cookie craving Tumblr user.
I'm not sure I've ever shared the cookie recipe, my bad if it turns out I haven't.
Anyway, here it is: https://littlespoonfarm.com/sourdough-chocolate-chip-cookies-recipe/#recipe
I do tweek it slightly, I have the oven about 10°c cooler than the recipe, and we love putting a sprinkle of flaky sea salt on top before they go in the oven. I recommend making them smaller than the recipe says if you want cookies that are smaller than xxl. I make them about half the size and bake for 12 minutes, and they turn out great. I also change the chocolate for the family favourite, Tony's Chocolonely salted caramel, and put in about 60g extra, which equates to two 180g bars, but the chocolate is totally personal preference and you can do whatever you want. Funnily enough, though, the change of chocolate actually makes it lower carbs, which is great for the diabetic in the house who absolutely loves these cookies.
Thanks for the ask. I'm always happy to answer questions, share recipes, and talk about anything sourdough.
