i would feel more annoyed at all of the people calling heated rivalry a mass psychosis event IF they weren't literally right. it's one thing to like a book, enjoy a series and feel passionate about the actors, and maybe purchase merch, but people are deadass camping outside their hotels and flying in to some random ass italian village because of unfounded rumours (that, lucky for them, were true). all of this is not even counting the jimmy fallon day when people were going to nyc from freaking texas just to catch a glimpse? and the fact that people apparently follow hw's gf on tiktok and are familiar enough to know her name? and all of the dating rumours and outrage over the age gap of a couple you don't even know exists?? and the most insane thing of this insanity: bringing heated rivalry placards to ANTI-ICE PROTESTS?! this is so deranged. can't even say "please go outside," all these people are already outside.

being on the road in india is so fun and especially if it's in an auto. even better if you are a pedestrian. nobody knows what lanes are. the white lines on the roads are probably just decoration. indicators are fun little buttons you can use if you are bored. zebra crossings are as meaningful as govt funded street art, no ones paying attention to it. and if you are crossing the road? a motorcycle or vespa could pop out of any narrow gap and scare you shitless. bus and lorry drivers think they're riding a bicycle the way they swerve those big ass bitches. good luck. you will survive and get to the other side of the road but you will also see your life flash in your eyes at least twenty times in the process.
