Wow, quadruped Pokemon! And…somehow this ship doesn’t exist? What?!
vomit / don’t ship / ok / cute / adorable / sexy / perfect / beyond flawless / hot damn / screaming and crying / i will ship them in hell
Like, seriously, no official shipping name for them? Do they have any support? Because if not, I’ve got a new pairing to help out.
Both are from Gen 5, walk on all fours, have angry/annoyed facial expressions in their official art, are in the same Egg Group, Electric isn’t very effective against Grass, have only a foot difference in height, and overall have a potential to be really cute.
Why are there so many good possible Pokemon ships that don’t seem to have as much support as less exciting or sensible ones?! Whatever, I’ll ship this.
…Wow. Has anyone ever asked me about Bowser Jr.? I can’t remember.
Sexuality Headcanon: Since he’s a kid, I think he should be undecided, since that’s not something he’s thinking about at his age. And aging up canon Junior just makes him, well, not canon Junior anymore. Because sure, I’ve seen headcanons that age him up, make him follow Bowser’s footsteps, and then fall in love with Mario and Peach’s daughter, because Powser transcending generations is a must have, apparently. Could one do the same if Mario and Peach had a boy? Sure, easily. (It’s like my fanfic of Bowsario, just with their kids instead of them.) But then, that’s an older Bowser Jr., not current.Gender Headcanon: Male. Sure, he’s got a voice actress, but I’m pretty sure he’s still supposed to be male. And even though a female heir for Bowser that isn’t Wendy would be cool, Junior works best as a male, I think.A ship I have with said character: This is hard too, since again, Junior is young. Could an older Junior get into a relationship with one of the members of the current generation without it being too creepy? Possibly, since we don’t know his exact age other than, “he’s young.” Peach and Mario I think have both been stated to be in their 20′s on at least one occasion. If Junior’s already over 10, then a 10-ish year difference when he’s in his 20′s while they’re in their 30′s isn’t terrible (I’m guessing it goes for more than just Mario and Peach, anyway). But again, that’s for a Junior that gets aged up. For little Bowser Jr. as he is now, I don’t think he’s interacted with enough younger characters to be paired off. Offering one of the babies is just…weird, because that’s still Mario and friends, just younger and somehow existing alongside their older counterparts. Personally, shipping a kid with a baby isn’t to my liking, hence why I’d have to see them aged up, which…becomes an older Bowser Jr. with Mario and co, which I covered. And if one picks a Koopaling, the current canon that they’re not Bowser’s kids must first be accepted. Ultimately, if the Koopalings are even around Bowser Jr.’s age, I guess I’d pair him off with them. 6/7 chance that Junior’s gay, surprise! But, honestly, I don’t really think about shipping Bowser Jr. all that often, at least not while he’s a kid. Since that’s the canon Junior, I guess I don’t particularly ship him off.A BROTP I have with said character: Bowser Jr. with the Koopalings. If one still prefers the original idea that the Koopalings are Bowser’s kids, then they’re actually Junior’s siblings, so that works. Even if one doesn’t take the Koopalings as Bowser’s kids, they can still have a “bro-ish” or sibling-like relationship with the prince, easily.A NOTP I have with said character: If you’re pairing Bowser Jr. while he’s just a kid, I feel like that’s NOTP worthy as it is. But, since the entire Pokemon anime fandom is totally cool with 10 year olds becoming practically married, I guess one could argue that point. Personally, I just feel like kids can do dating stuff, but it’s not really serious, so it doesn’t seem worthwhile to me. Um…if one takes the idea that the Koopalings are Junior’s siblings and still ship them, uh, why? They established the canon that works for you, where Junior isn’t related to them. So, yeah. Also, pairing Junior with an adult while he’s a kid is not ok, obviously. And pairing Junior with the adults as babies is equally not ok.A random headcanon: I used this for Mother’s Day: even though Bowser Jr. is aware that Peach is not his mother, he still calls her “Mama Peach” because he enjoys annoying her. Oh, but now that reminds me of my sad headcanon where he wants to desperately know who his actual mother is, but is too afraid to ask Bowser for the truth, and has no idea where to start. Oops, watch out for feels.General Opinion over said character: Bowser Jr. is a cute kid, and I like the idea of Bowser being a father, which is why the Koopalings originally appealed to me. (Now I like them more because they stand on their own, but they also have an interesting family dynamic of their own to explore.) If one were to consider Junior as a direct replica of Bowser, which I believe is where the Nintendo canon is going, then he’ll present the threat of the Mushroom Kingdom for a whole new generation. And won’t that be lovely?! (If one sides with the heroes, that gets a big, “Nope.” But I think most people prefer Bowser and the Koopalings, or at least from what I’ve seen around here, ha.) What could be cool is if Junior were to actually switch sides and changes his loyalty to the Mushroom Kingdom, because THAT would be so dramatic. Can you imagine, Junior just one day decides that he’s sick of losing or actually open to hearing out Mario and Peach (and friends)’s side of the story, ultimately deciding to side with them? And then Bowser has to deal with his kid turning against him? Twisted. (Ooh…story potential that I can’t use right now. Crap.) Anyway, as Bowser Jr. is now, Bowser’s spoiled little brat of a son, I think he fits right in with the rest of the cast. And overall, it gives people more of a reason to not only like Junior, but another reason to like Bowser. Whether one likes him as a doting parent that spoils the life out of his son, or one believes that Bowser’s so evil that he’ll use his kid as a scapegoat to fight or flee from Mario and company, it helps develop Bowser’s character, thus increasing his depth and reasoning why one would like him. I love exploring Bowser’s army, and Bowser’s personal relationships, and Junior is probably the most significant one, so I enjoy it. (I think it’s obvious because of my fanfic, but I like exploring the potential depths of the Mario universe in general.)
And that’s my thoughts on canon Bowser Jr.
Though, I don’t want to make it seem like I copped out of answers, so I’m going to do these again if I headcanon Junior around his 20′s, but I’m going to keep it simple and not add in what-if’s for original characters and what not, so no, “if Junior grew up with the baby cast,” or, “if Mario and Peach had kids, and then years later–” no. None of that. I’ll go back and forth with his relations to the Koopalings, though, since that’s fair. (I’m ok with the current canon of Junior not being related to the Koopalings, but I know a lot of people like them as Bowser’s eight kids.)
Sexuality Headcanon: I mean, I’m technically making this up too, since there’s really no support for Junior’s romantic interests. Uh…I feel like Bowser would definitely send him after Peach still, so possibly straight, I guess. But I personally wouldn’t make it that easy, and I’d totally have Junior not actually interested in Peach, since he’d feel that was “going after the old man’s lady” or something. So…his options are the Koopalings, really, unless one takes them as relations. And if not, that’s 6/7 odds for gay. If so, then he could still potentially be interested in Mario, Luigi, a Toad, or even Yoshi. Eh, screw it, he’d be bisexual, but leaning towards gay.Gender Headcanon: Male; nothing’s changed here, except by this point, Bowser Jr. would actually have a masculine voice. Or, at least, not easily recognized as a woman voicing a kid. And now I’m picturing Junior with an effeminate voice as an adult, super.A ship I have with said character: Uh…well, it depends. Not related to the Koopalings, I’d imagine that Junior could easily fall for any of the seven. My pick would probably go to Ludwig, since they’d start out probably disliking each other and competing to prove who’s Bowser’s better second-in-command, but then they spend so much time together that it turns into a romance, whoops. Wendy would make sense since they’re both bratty and want everything, even as adults. Lemmy would be good if one wants to explore a more playful relationship. Iggy if Junior’s even more geeky with technology as he’s older. It gets harder with the remaining three. Um…I like the bodyguard falling for their charge angle, or vice versa or mutually, and I’d assign that type to Morton. For Roy, I feel like he’d either promote Junior’s full potential of being evil (bullying and evil overlord inheritance, you tell me), but there could be potential of them having a more dramatic relationship as well, like if Roy picks on Junior because he does fall for him, and Bowser’s not cool with it, but Junior likes it. I guess something similar could work with Larry, or maybe play up an angle where Larry’s considered the biggest failure amongst his siblings and Junior takes pity. Bam, I just made each of those possible. And that’s too far down the rabbit hole, whoops. If he’s related to the Koopalings, all of that goes out the door. Uh…obviously, a relationship with Peach is easy, because that’s literally Bowser 2.0, which is what Junior represents. If one thinks it’s weird for Junior to be as interested in Peach as Bowser, but not for either Mario brother, then one of those. (And honestly, I find that more amusing; like, 10 years from the current canon, Bowser still has a heavy fixation on Peach, but instead wants to defer his chances with her to Junior, who’s instead more interested in Mario/Luigi. Potential is written right there.)A BROTP I have with said character: His relationship with the Koopalings, regardless of canon.A NOTP I have with said character: I guess the only one in my headcanon version of older Junior would be him with Bowser, which basically applies across the board for him. Idk, I typically leave out the incest options when considering pairings, because it goes without saying for me. If you’re into that for fictional characters, I guess that’s fine? I understand options are limited in certain spaces, so…I guess. Anyway, other NOTPs would include the baby versions of Mario and friends, if they’re still around, oddly creating paradoxes that Nintendo refuses to explain as they pad out the rosters for spin-off games.A random headcanon: Even though he’s the prince and supposed to take over for the kingdom, Junior would still rather paint, which he’s become far more skilled at these days.General Opinion over said character: See all of those “if” sentences? That’s why I posted before about Junior as just his canon age. Nintendo could age him up in the future years of the Mario series, but according to the current canon, he’s a kid. So, doing anything with him and a perspective on his love life is undecided at his current age. And “if” we age him up, then it’s free reign over a character that technically doesn’t exist. I’m pretty sure there are multiple “Ask the Koopalings” blogs on here, where they headcanon the Koopalings and Bowser Jr. as adults and interpret that in their own ways. Those are all fine, and they could stick close to the canon, but that’s their own spin on the series. (They actually do pretty well creating a whole future universe for the Koopalings & Junior to live in.) Anyway, my point is that canon Junior is undecided over his preferences across the board, and bumping up his age makes it impossible to determine. That extends to his potential leadership as well; it could be as simple as Bowser 2.0, but he could end up being someone else entirely. The future is a story not written. Personally, though, with all of these thoughts buzzing around of aging up Bowser Jr., I can see the appeal of doing so, because the potential is everywhere. I like the idea of him not following exactly in his father’s footsteps. If Nintendo were to ever push Junior’s age forward, possibly give Bowser a new kid and send Junior over to the heroes or make his own army, I’m all for it. But personally, I think I like him best as Bowser’s heir, incompetent or superiorly igneous. Can you imagine Mario dealing with a more competent Bowser in form of Junior? Someone that’s studied him closely over the years and now knows how to better predict him than his father could have ever imagined? Ooohh, that’d be some scary stuff. Or hilarious, if he finds himself interested in Mario. Whoops, I made it silly. But yeah, older Bowser Jr. = tons of imagination and free reign over multiple angles to work with.
Phew! I think I’ve thought more about Bowser Jr. here than I ever have before! Well…almost than I ever have. Definitely about who to pair him off with though, that’s new for me. Dismissing him as a kid makes it easy, but if he’s older, I need to stop and think about it. The possibilities are fun!
Haha, pro fighting games that I stay away from. I suck at fighting games.
What’s funny is that even though I suck, I always find myself drawn to fighting games. Like, either I’m a sucker for punishment, or I just enjoy the other bits they offer. Who doesn’t like rosters with lots and lots of characters?!
Anyway, from afar, Tekken is pretty cool, and probably one of the best at 3D Fighting Games out there. It has some pretty cool characters too, like Heihachi, Kazuya, Jin, King, Nina, Anna, Lili, Law, Raven, Mokojin, Kuma, Paul, and Yoshimitsu (also in the Soul series). Obviously, great mechanics and a working system for the game, considering its longevity. And, for what it’s worth, it has a fun story to follow too. (I think I like Soul’s better, though.)
Overall, Tekken’s a cool series, and synonymous with “core Fighting Games,” along with usual suspects including Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and Capcom vs Whoever. Pretty good, just not my specialty.
character: hate them | don’t really care | like them | LOVE them | THEY ARE MY PRECIOUS
ship with: Idk, I consider Grunt too young for the main cast usually, though he does get those mating requests and went through puberty technically. Most likely Jack (similar destructive tendencies) and Wrex (student-mentor bait, I’m not sorry) are his main pairings for me. Maybe Garrus and Liara too. (He did get her that rock at the party.) Oh, maybe Kolyat, that could be cute; second generation styled romance, totally doable.
general opinions: He’s the squad’s killer baby that destroys whatever’s in our path, and must be protected at all costs for the future of the Krogans. All we need to do is sate his appetite and bloodthirsty tendencies, and we’re good to go! …Grunt’s cute, ok?
falls asleep on the couch: Rhydon. Before, he used to not be able to sleep with Nidoking and passed out from exhaustion. Now he just has long days that he can’t always make it to the bed. Nidoking usually cuddles up next to Rhydon when he finds him.makes friends with the neighbors: Nidoking is very friendly, perhaps too much so. Rhydon is friendly with people he’s close to, but wary around unannounced newcomers and distant outsiders.is the adventurous eater: Nidoking, though he forces Rhydon to try everything with him, so they both are.hogs the covers at night: They actually both do it. If Nidoking has a nightmare, though, Rhydon gives him all of the covers and cuddles around him too. Nidoking doesn’t get as many opportunities to return the favor, but he snuggles into Rhydon most nights anyway.forgets to do the dishes: Rhydon, because Nidoking otherwise doesn’t touch the dishes. And then he mocks Rhydon for forgetting, which actually bothers Rhydon (both forgetting and Nidoking’s teasing).tries to surprise their partner more often: Nidoking, since he likes to prank Rhydon with shenanigans, and he spoils Rhydon silly with all the romantic stuff. Though, Rhydon gets his revenge for most silliness, and then tries to keep up with Nidoking’s spoiling.leaves dirty laundry on the floor: Rhydon, because he usually doesn’t let Nidoking touch that either. And then when Nidoking does it for him, Rhydon flips out…at himself. (Nidoking’s not sure if he should laugh or calm him down.)stays up til 2 AM reading: Nidoking actually spends a lot of time reading. Rhydon does sometimes, but at that hour, he throws a pillow at Nidoking’s face and begs him to sleep.sings in the shower: Rhydon, and Nidoking gets a free show to listen to. He thinks Rhydon should try it professionally, while Rhydon’s just happy to have Nidoking join in.takes the selfies: Nidoking, who smiles in almost everything. Sometimes he gets Rhydon to do it too, other times he’s scowling over not being able to stop Nidoking’s selfie madness.plans date night: Rhydon tends to do it more, since he has to make sure nothing goes awry. Nidoking makes the better plans though, especially because he spoils Rhydon like crazy when he’s in charge. (And Rhydon hates admitting that.)
So much cuteness, yay!
Top Gen 6? Hmm…
10. Pangoro - I’ve wanted a panda Pokemon for ages, and he fulfills the quota. And no, Spinda didn’t count. It’s also really tough looking and fluffy. Though, I also really liked Hawlucha, so idk who deserves this spot now, lol. I’ll just leave it for now.
9. Noivern - It’s a really cute Pokemon. Flying/Dragon isn’t the most exciting type, and Noivern isn’t the strongest, but it’s pretty cool for what it’s worth. (Though, Goodra is better for battling.) Oh, and speaker ears.
8. Tyrantrum - I really like the T-Rex one, ok? Pokemon does lots of dinosaurs, but I really liked seeing Tyrantrum pop up. Dragon and Rock make an interesting type combination too. And the crown on its head is cool.
7. Sylveon - For the Fairy type, I kind of consider Sylveon to be Gen 6′s main representative. It’s also a really strong battler, so that gives it plus points. Being an Eevee evolution certainly doesn’t hurt. And the fan art that involves it tend to be hilarious. (Though, I still think Clefairy is the best mascot for the type, and Floette deserves a special mention for the story with AZ.)
6. Yveltal - It’s certainly a really cool Legendary Pokemon, so I simply couldn’t deny it that. I also like that they actually went the distance and basically designed a Pokemon that was death incarnate. While it’s another Flying Legendary, and also yet another bird, it stands out fairly well compared to the crowd and overall is pretty cool.
5. Xerneas - In spite of what makes Yveltal neat, Xerneas beats it out. First Fairy type Legendary, an actual deer opposed to the Musketeer Quartet, pretty design, light-up horns that turn off out of battle, cool signature move that isn’t just a simple attack, and it’s overall pretty impressive. Life force for everybody!
4. Zygarde - Last Pokemon in the Alphabet orders, I really like Zygarde, since it’s a dragon that’s related to Norse myth I think. It’s also one of the only two Ground types introduced, and I do like Ground types, so that. Also, I’m excited for the potentially upcoming expansions on it, with a possible new form to be revealed maybe, as well as new attacks to be released. Overall, Zygarde is a cool Legendary Pokemon.
3. Delphox - It actually took me some time to like Delphox. As soon as I saw Fennekin, I thought it was going to be everyone’s absolute favorite starter. Braixen did not help that at all, and not for the same reasons as Fennekin. At first, I wasn’t sure how to feel about Delphox, but I gradually warmed up to it. Besides that, I also really like the mage design behind it, and how that fits in with its fellow Starters, who I feel have the best cohesive theme between all starters.
2. Chesnaught - I was nervous about Chesnaught before it’s reveal. Chespin was overly cute, Quilladin was…well, it took a little more getting used to. So, I was surprisingly pleased by how tough and cool looking Chesnaught turned out to be. Then my rival ended up picking one up, and it was an easy opponent to KO, but I still really liked it. And obviously, I got my own and enjoyed trouncing others with it, ha! Oh, and the knight of the trio. Yay!
1. Greninja - Big surprise, I know. What do you want from me? It’s a cool, Water, ninja frog with a tongue scarf. It’s super cool and completes the starter trio theme. I’m also biased, because even though I collect every Starter Pokemon, my default is to select the Water type Pokemon, which I’ve done since my very first game. Froakie was already really cute, Frogadier was super cool looking, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that Greninja didn’t turn into something to throw that out of balance, but rather upped the whole line’s coolness. It’s also the very first time that the final evolution of the Water type Starters that turned out popular, since that ordinarily goes to the Fire types, sans Emboar, who loses out to Serperior. Bonus points since its design was all that it needed to inspire a certain game developer to add it into the Smash Bros. roster, which only increases its widespread popularity. With its Hidden Ability, Greninja is also competitive worthy, another plus. And its shiny form, though not as appealing to me as the blue, is super cool and fits the ninja theme. So…yeah. Greninja is pretty much my favorite Pokemon from the 6th Generation, and definitely one of my many overall favorites.
Video Games Ask; 14,15,16 and 38 OC Thing; Rhydon/6,7 And a nickname please? (This might be a bit long...)
Nicknames First! Let’s see: Orb, Orbit, Break, B2O, Gly (Any of them good?)
Video Game Asks:
14. Favorite game music?
DDR, GH, and RB, right? Lol.
There are a lot I’d name, but I’d have to go with Xenoblade Chronicles lately. Gaur Plain, Engage the Enemy, You Will Know Our Names, that game has a fantastic soundtrack!
15. If it was a requirement to get a game related tattoo, what would you pick?
Hmm…tough one. Right now, I’m feeling Mark of Grima or Brand of the Exalt (Mark of Naga). Maybe both, lol. (Ultimate Lucina/Morgan powers!)
16. Favorite game to play with your friends IRL?
Ugh, multiple. But between Smash Bros., Mario Kart, and Mario Party, I do find Mario Party the most amusing. But I think the most loved is actually Mario Kart. Oh, I forgot about Nintendo Land; that does surprisingly well too.
38. A game you’re ashamed to admit that you like?
I can’t think of any off the top of my head, haha! Hmm. Is it not cool to like those Wii Sports games? Because those can be fun. Oh, and I do really like Find Mii on the 3DS, if that’s not cool either. (I feel like this is a good question, but I forget which games I should be ashamed of liking, lol!)
Yay for Rhydon! OC Meme:
6. Emotion
Attentive, which gets both sides of him. He’s vigilant and cautious, but also polite and accommodating. Definitely chivalrous. Around Nidoking, he can be a bit shy, though still flirty and romantic. Around Nidoking in public, more shy and very easily embarrassed based on situations.
7. Super power
So…do I go with what he already has based on his attacks or physical attributes? Or, do I give him what I think would fit if he had additional powers?
Well then. All three!
Attack Powers: Probably Earthquake, Hammer Arm, Megahorn, and Stone Edge. Though, he’s also learned Horn Drill and Stealth Rock at earlier points.
Physical Powers: Armor-like hide is mentioned repeatedly, so that. Also, he’s strong (duh), so expect punches and tail slams to hurt, as he’s proficient in combat. Weapons training is masterful too, so he’ll be good with a wide variety of weaponry. He’s got a good eye for tactics, too.
Super Powers: Besides durability, super strength, and earth manipulation, he’d probably like energy absorption. When he was younger, he probably wanted pheromone manipulation, because senpai didn’t notice him.
Please? Of course! Can’t have Sneakpast without their Drill buddies! XD
Who said “I love you” first: Rhydon, because Nidoking was an oblivious dork.Who would have the other’s picture as their phone background: Both would, but Nidoking would show it off more. Rhydon would force him not to, though he’d do the same when he’s not around Nidoking.Who leaves notes written in fog on the bathroom mirror: Rhydon would start them since he gets up first. Nidoking would expand on them and leave more for Rhydon to read (and clean) later.Who buys the other cheesy gifts: Nidoking, because he spoils the life out of Rhydon as it is, so he’d buy all sorts of expensive jewelry that Rhydon wouldn’t even want to wear. (And then he’d have to, or else Nidoking would be sad.)Who initiated the first kiss: Nidoking, because Rhydon thought his life was over after admitting his feelings. Surprise, feelings and love were returned!Who kisses the other awake in the morning: Rhydon, who’s usually up first. Nidoking likes to surprise him sometimes and pull him down for deeper kisses.Who starts tickle fights: Nidoking, as he’s naturally more playful and loooves to hear Rhydon’s laugh. Though, Rhydon does it once in a while too, because he adores seeing Nidoking smile.Who asks who if they can join the other in the shower: Both do, because Nidoking makes sure he can invade Rhydon’s personal space with floods of kisses, and Rhydon always asks because that’s the way he is.Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch: Rhydon, because he will literally fight chefs over making Nidoking meals. Nidoking finds it both cute and scary. He also once tried to make Rhydon a meal, but failed miserably; Rhydon choked it down anyway.Who was nervous and shy on the first date: Rhydon, because he seriously thought Nidoking would never go out with him. Nidoking thought it was cute and went easy on him, making him more comfortable as their date went on.Who kills/takes out the spiders: Rhydon, because he must protect the king at all costs from any and every danger, minor ones included.Who loudly proclaims their love when they’re drunk: Nidoking, at extremely loud volumes. Though it used to be humiliating, Rhydon doesn’t get as embarrassed as much anymore, now threatening Nidoking when he gets drunk, like not wearing his pendant presents. (And then having to wear them the next day to pacify sober Nidoking.) Rhydon tries not to get drunk often in public, because he’s always about keeping Nidoking under control, but totally had an incident once in private…and with Nidoking, no less.
…I really enjoy this ship to strong degrees. MORE DRILLSHIPPING PLEASE!
For the BROTP or Platonic Ship, right? That’s the most recent, so let’s do it!
who steals french fries off the other’s plate: Honestly, they both do it, and it gets the other one annoyed, which is only encouragement to continue.who jokingly moves in for the kiss when someone asks if they’re a couple: Wrex, because it flusters Garrus for a moment when asked that. He then gets flustered over Wrex trying to kiss him.who has to bust or bail the other out of jail: Garrus has to save Wrex usually, because typical, but only since Garrus is better at getting away with murder because sniper. So really, they should be jail buddies that Shepard has to bail out.who gives the other advice/comfort about dating issues: Wrex does lately, since he’s got all the sweet moves, but Garrus used to help him out a lot with relationship advice that he knew little about. (Then again, a lot of people did.) It’s hilarious in hindsight because Garrus is awkward around his dates in spite of following his own advice.who shamelessly cheats at games by reaching over to cover the other’s eyes: Wrex, and it annoys Garrus to no end, but that only makes Wrex love it more and does it repeatedly.who immediately calls dibs on the top bunk: Garrus, because he likes high places and vantage points. Wrex could care less, since he likes to be closer to the ground to rush at anyone who might disturb their sleep. (It’s scary how prepared they are for anything when sleeping together.)who starts and who wins the pillow fights: Garrus starts them, usually when drunk or otherwise overly confident, to which Wrex almost always wins, save the maybe one or two times out of dozens that Garrus actually did.who says “your pants would look better on their floor” to the other’s potential crush: Wrex, who wants to hasten Garrus’s relationships along…which is one reason why Garrus gets nervous introducing new love interests to the squad.
