OC-tober: days 3-4, old OC/re-design

Since i want to dedicate this challenge to drawing BtB characters, I decided to take some liberty here and combine the two prompts, and draw old designs of the main trio!

these are the designs I had for them before the plot was fleshed out, and before the characters were developed into something more than just an idea.

Sasha used to be a journalist who wrote exposès under a pseudonym

Jackie was the same personality-wise, but had long hair and a sailor aesthetic. Her green sea glass necklace stayed in the comic - but now Andra is the one wearing it

Ryan was trying to be popular and was wearing (fake) luxury brands

OC-tober, day 5: RELATIONSHIPS

Jackie and Ryan, and the relationship is friendship. They've known each other since they were five, and because Jackie's mother was always absent (working her million low-paying jobs), Jackie was always hanging out with Ryan and his uncle Marcos.

Jackie has tunnel vision, she picks one person to latch on to and refuses to let go. Ryan is her best friend, that's a constant of the universe, always is and always has been - therefore she doesn't need to ask what he feels/thinks, it's automatically assumed he's on board with everything she plans. Even if it's harmful.

Ryan sees a little sister in Jackie. He also thinks about his lost mother, who was a little sister to his uncle, whom Marcos failed to protect. So he prefers not to think about the shitty things Jackie does - after all, she's the closest and most loyal person in his life.

thinking about comic updates - do you think it's better to update with a single page, but every week, or with 3-4 pages, but less frequently?

i can barely find time for personal stuff now...

I've started posting chapter 4 of my comic Breaking the Boundary on tapas!

It would mean a lot to me if you checked it out. In this chapter we'll see a lot of Ryan's flashbacks, finally meet Marcos, and also learn more about the cracks in reality they've been seeing...
