Basically it’s an caste titan AU doujin, it’s funny, it’s cute, the art is amazing, the story is fun and exciting, I cannot recommend this one enough.  It’s the inspiration for one of the fics I’m doing for eruri week so keep an eye out!  Short description only today cause I’m in a rush but this one is everything great about sable without the horrible evils of the snk world hanging over them.  Top ten! Erwin gets drunk, propositions Levi, sexy times ensue and it’s extremely adorable.  Art’s a little rough for breakmission’s usual standards but I still enjoyed this one.  Erwin being surprised at how cute Levi’s sex noises are is to die for.

Erwin takes Levi to one of those fancy parties, Levi only listens to Erwin obviously, people are simultaneously impressed and horrified, sexy times ensue.  What’s not to like? Levi and Erwin get caught out in the rain, Levi is worried Erwin will get a cold, they are snuggly and adorable, sexy times ensue. I’m sensing a theme here!  There’s also a ‘just after Erwin’s arm gets chomped’ segment which is also lovely.

Some really good ones in the next few days!  Yey. To begin, we’ve got Hand to Hug by Sable https://myreadingmanga.info/sable-shingeki-kyojin-dj-hand-hug-eng/

Arg her characters are so gorgeous! This one takes place immediately after Erwin loses his arm, and deals with some of the emotional and physical difficulties that such an injury would cause.  It’s a beautiful look at both Levi and Erwin’s motivations, feelings, and struggles, and it has some really tasty beardwin which I think everyone likes.   This is probably the tastiest beardwin in this rec series.  After we’ve got Take On One’s Style by breakmission https://myreadingmanga.info/breakmission-shingeki-no-kyojin-dj-take-ones-style-eng/

One thing I really value in doujin is creativity, exploring something new, giving me something I haven’t seen before.  This is a great example of that with two stories that take place during the manga series that we didn’t get to see, namely the immediate aftermath of ACWNR, and the right after chapter 56 when we first learn about Kenny but before we properly learn about Levi’s past. I love this author’s art and style, and I love that she’s comfortable exploring these characters without it explicitly being a love story.  This one isn’t heavily eruri at all really (no smut etc), but it’s really interesting.

hello friends, I am trying to write fic but I’m somewhat having a rough time so it’s not working as well as I’d like.  I am sorry for the delay.

Anyway, first today is Love and Atonement by Chiruchiru https://myreadingmanga.info/chiruchiru-love-atonement-attack-on-titan-dj-engesp/

This one is HEARTBREAKING.  Levi gets permanently paralyzed from the waist down, and Erwin retires from the SC to help him and live with him.  Overall it’s really sweet but it really fucking packs a punch.  A physically disabled Levi is not a premise we often encounter, and it’s hard to see him so hobbled.  I wonder if this is something Isayama might explore depending on how extensive Levi’s current injuries are. Then we’ve got Karma by Breakmission https://myreadingmanga.info/breakmission-karma-1-attack-on-titan-dj-engesp/

So this one is a reimagining of ACWNR and explores another way in which Erwin might have gotten Levi to join the SC.  There’s no romance or smut in this one, which is a bit unusual, and I’m not sure that this reinterpretation significantly improves on the original.  That being said, the art is lovely and I do like a precanon imagining so there you go.
