The American medical system continues to be a nightmare
A little while ago, I found a concerning breast lump. Hard, weird shaped, attached, along with other changes ect.
I've also had another lump removed a few years back that was not as concerning as this one. The more I read about it, the more I know I need to get it looked at like right now.
The problem is that I have been trying to get even a screening and it is impossible. I am in between primary care doctors with a new one scheduled in April ( the soonest I could find). Screening centers won't just let me walk in. I have to have a doctor's order.
When I call the doctor's office, it goes to voicemail and no one has called me back.
I emailed them but they recently said that they do not respond to new medical concerns over email due to the overwhelming amount of email they get.
And I am just sitting here very scared and frustrated. I am sure it is fine... just like a benign lump, right? But I cannot be sure and I really need a medical professional to take a look. I don't want to wait until the end of April. I don't think I mentally can. I'll keep trying but this is a dang nightmare and I hate it here.
