01/01/2017 Blog Update: New Years & Back to School Special
School is starting soon (For those following a new year = new school year system), and we’re here to give some tips to help cope with school this year! These tips is for and can help anyone’s mental health, and not just those who are currently having trouble with their mental state. So let’s jump into it!
1. Prepare for School Early
Don’t do all your purchases last minute. Get yourself ready early and start your year on the right foot! And take some time to treat yourself to some stationary that’s practical and looks good. Some of our recommendations: Kikki-K,Filofax Planners // Taobao, ArtBox Post-its // Mildliner Highlighters.
2. Join a Club
This is an easy way to get connected and make new friends! Clubs are really good for building up your portfolio and earning extra points (if your school has a point system for extra-curricular activities). Join something you’re interested in too, rather than something that looks good on your portfolio! When school starts getting tough, it’s going to be hard to maintain your attendance and energy when you don’t have a lot of interest in it.
3. Follow Some Study Social Media Accounts
Seriously these users give huge tips for doing well in school, not to mention inspirational and aesthetic photos of their homework and notes. On tumblr, you can track the tag studyblr. Youtube has a studywithme tag that you can track as well! Another tip is to make use of the resources and tips they share with their followers! Many of them create really good printables of planners, project guides, essay planners and more!
That’s it for now! Wishing all of you a good new year!
