I am normally not at all a big fan of parent/child dynamic, but super uncomfortable and unofficial BreezeCrow is... interesting.

Like, Breezepelt and Crowfeather are so distant and strained in terms of relationship, that any bond between them is more as strangers then as parent and child...

Breezepelt eager for any sort of relationship with the cat that is supposed to be his father, and Crowfeather trying to do something to have a bond with his VERY estranged son.

So one night in the attempt between the two of them to talk, an awkward set of interactions to bond results in them... doing stuff

And this just becomes something super uncomfortable that hangs over both of them forever as they are stuck in the same clan, having done that... And both would literally rather jump off cliffs than even begin to unpack that, and can barely look each other in the eyes.

so like i’ve said before, breeze has insomnia and the only thing that can really consistently get him to sleep is a good hard fucking from crowfeather

he takes him out of camp, sometimes if he’s feeling risky he’ll fuck him in camp

he’ll tell breeze to keep quiet or he’ll wake his clanmates up, and breeze is absolutely an exhibitionist (i think thats the right term) so that just spurs him on more

other than that, he’s into breathplay too, so oftentimes crowfeather will have a paw on his throat, and breezepelt gets so worked up from it, it’s a major turn on

There is something really compelling about the anon BreezeCrow with Breeze being sadistic Dom and Crow getting hit with guilt and going along with it.

mental image aside, Breeze having so much pent up aggression and anger, and revelling in finally being able to exercise it on Crow and being in full control over him. But at the same time needing to make sure it is relatively safe and that he doesn't go too far.

And then of course doing aftercare which there are some really tasty emotional things that are going on there.

Anyway, your brand to me (besides all the ones already mentioned) is recognizing another blog that liked or reblogged you and having a "Devil's Sacrament" moment

There is something funny about this idea where Breezepelt gains total control over the one cat he wants revenge against the most, and through that discovering that he's actually too nice/moral to be all that mean about it, leading to some real reconciliation. That's some sort of therapy xD

I remember you making a post about BreezeCrow familial ship but their roles sort of shift where it's breeze doing most of the "parenting"

I thought that was amazing. Just Breeze growing up to be way more well adjusted, (and also somehow attracted to) his father who is just the same if not worse

Oh yes, wholesome BreezeCrow my beloved. I think it's cute given how estranged they are in canon to just have them wipe out their whole familial context and simply re-meet each other as: just two toms. They start spending time together in that context and because they actually have quite a bit in common it's so easy for it to turn romantic. And then Breezepelt abolutely settles into more of a caretaker role for a more submissive Crowfeather, just works so well.

Just picture them curled up in their nest, Breeze grooming Crow's pelt while he purrs and purrs.

As the BreezeCrow anon, if we are being honest, a significant part of BreezeCrow would be spent with Breezepelt convincing Nightcloud to not drop a cinder block on Crows head.

Sometimes the best parts of thinking about some proships is imagining being a fly on the wall of whatever conversation is going on between the characters involved, because, boy, there would VERY fun talks to be had.

Laughing thinking about Breezepelt trying to find the proper euphemistic language to explain the situation to her.

"No, Nightcloud, he's not 'manipulating' me, it's... I'm... I'm in control of the situation okay?"

Okay, but consider this, BrokenBreeze but Breezepelt is so messed up from it he starts feeling things for Crowfeather when he starts getting positive attention from him. Now THAT'S a lot to unpack.

Breezepelt Family Ships

Breeze/Lion: Probably the strongest conceptually of the group. Maybe they meet instead of Heatherpaw in the tunnels, or they meet through both knowing her, or they train in the arc3 dark forest together, who knows. Mutual teen angst brings them together, the news about their shared parentage causes oh so much drama. Berrynose gets jealous.

Breeze/Holly: Kind of similar to Breeze/Lion except it's harder to see Hollyleaf going for a cross-clan relationship. Maybe after the fire scene and the big reveal they fall into a "parents suck so much, you know what would really upset them? If we kissed." They would be terrible for each other, probably.

Breeze/Jay: I have no idea how these two would get together, but it's kind of a cute concept (two grumpy brothers). The attack at the moonpool mixed with that "whoa your hurt sound is vaguely sexual" post.

Breeze/Crow: There's plenty to do with this, but if we want to shoot for "plausible," you could figure out something post-Crowfeather's Trial. Like "we don't work as father and son, but perhaps would could work... as Toms." Bonus points if they pull Harestar in.

Breeze/Night: What can be said about this that hasn't probably already been said? Breezepelt is probably the ultimate "momma's boy." So many ways to run with that, especially in this specific scenario of "Crowfeather abandoned us both, we only have each other."

DustCloud (cute name): Was going to say that I didn't ship it when I first saw this ask come in a bit ago, but it was because I hadn't thought about it, and now that I've thought about it I ship it.

What made you ship it? I thought about them together for like two seconds and I liked it. Bully x guy who he bullied who ends up being bigger than him maybe? Also Dustpelt a great option for the tom who Brightheart gets Cloudtail to hook up with.

What are your favorite things about the ship? Two tuff toms >:3 I feel like it's pretty flexible in dynamic, too. You could do the aforementioned bully -> uh oh he's bigger than me now, you can have them as bros who kiss, you can have some stuff driven by Brightheart and Ferncloud. They're both tough and outspoken I feel like they'd hype each other up.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? I forget how much they interact in TNP but I have to imagine that Dustpelt was pretty mean to Cloudpaw, and I think that adds some good ~spice~.

BreezeCrow: You know I ship it.

What made you ship it? Angsty parent/child who have a bad relationship and make up through hardship and trauma? I never had a chance.

What are your favorite things about the ship? I love some canon where part of their making up is like, "I can't really see you as a father/son but I could see you as a tom." And you know they are both soooo awkward about everything for a while. Crowfeather has always been a blusher and I assume Breezepelt takes after him in that regard too. Also throwing Heathertail in there still is great. HeatherBreezeCrow dynamic is great.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? I don't know what an unpopular opinion looks like here. Is it unpopular to say that you could reasonably fit a casual thing for them into the canon without having to cut an AU out for them?
