bren's idiotproof ice cream recipe

Three parts heavy whipping cream, one part milk, one part sweeteners, and a pinch of salt. Add flavorings now! (Bren likes vanilla and coffee.) Simmer until the sweeteners and salt have dissolved. Churn according to ice cream machine instructions.

Once the ice cream is churned, add mix-ins! (Bren likes chocolate pieces or butterscotch pieces.) Simply pour them into the bowl with the freshly churned ice cream and fold them in with a spatula.

(Bren likes agave syrup and turbinado sugar.) A pinch of table salt. Table salt. It's just table salt, Bren, you checked it twelve times. Simmer and churn.

Once the ice cream is churned, you don't mix anything in, because of the risk of contaminants. Listen, there's no reason to be reckless.

Except. Rock salt. Bren keeps the bag completely separate from cooking supplies, constantly washes her tools thoroughly. There's no reason for rock salt to end up in the ice cream if she's using the ice cream machine correctly.

i think c and java? the syllabus was unclear but the prof said we’re gonna be using something called coffeescript too
