happy birthday to my true homie, my homeslice, @brettdaltonaf !! it’s still your birthday here for another hour or so, so you’re gettin’ some grade A canadian birthday wishes thrown your way, okay? that being said, i hope you had a wonderful birthday, that you got to kick up your feet, relax, eat some cake, enjoy family (including the lil’ one!) and friends and maybe appreciate some dalton. you deserve it. -- ok im about to get real sappy so buckle up friends buckle up -- you are such an incredible person, blogger and friend who i’m so fortunate to have gotten to know this year. you probably never knew this, but when i first joined the aos fandom i remember seeing your blog around and going ‘dude this person is too cool THEYRE SO COOL’ and i sort of like, admired from afar, appreciating the sw/bd content, lurking and liking. so imagine the day i freaked out when you followed and even more so when you came to twitter (in which i was like: oh damn i gotta step up my GAME J IS HERE I GOTTA STEP IT UP NO PRESSURE). and then we did that whole thread about ‘why we like brett dalton’ and i think our friendship was sort of sold. i’m not gonna lie, it’s still one of my highlights of 2014/15 (establishing we were both brett dalton af, truly). IM GETTING ALL TYPES OF EMOTIONAL BECAUSE THAT WAS ALMOST A YEAR AGO IN DECEMBER. ITS FINE. you are honestly so hilarious, dedicated - the amount of work you put into fybd, fygw, etc. is incredible, like i mean actually incredible. i am honestly so impressed and awed. you are truly the ULTIMATE J), and so sweet. i have so many good and fond memories i’ll always remember (despite whatever bs we have suffered through) including socks, quoting madison panel, making pure aos crack invovling roadtrips and dog shelters, crying over fic together in dms, just a fork, that fucking picture, the 14 minute video breakdowns, omg all those twitter dms honestly, and just spiralling every other day. or every day for a time. i can’t express how much i treasure those crazy moments. what i’m trying to say is that i miss you tons, love you lots, and really value our little friendship because of a stupid show and a ‘tiny’ man who honestly cannot dress himself. and doesn’t want to step on any twigs. i love you so so very much (so much i’d eat a sock for u) & i wish you the best in this new year. :* ps. one day the trash has gotta meet the trashcan k
