Q: Why the name Dog’s Window Brewery?

A:  We adopted a Jack Russell form Dog’s Trust in 2012. Being sich a big part of the familyI wanted to include him in the brewery name somehow. His favourite place in the house is on the lounge windowsill, so went with the name “Dog’s Window”.

A:  I bought an existing brewery, named Toti Brewery – so the name was already set!

Q: Why the name Uiltje Brewing Company?

A:  My last name is Uijleman, which means Owl-man. When I had to pick a name I never had the idea Uiltje would grow out to be a international selling brewery. Therfore Uiltje at the time sounded like a good idea – it means small owl in Dutch.
