Here at Mile High Brew Review, we love summer time! It is the time for great events with great weather and amazing beers! It also brings amazing beer festivals as the sun brings out the best in breweries around town. Here are our top 5 Beerfests in Colorado taking place in the next 3 months!
5. BrüFrou Fest - 7/16 at the Tivoli Quad in Denver, CO
In the forth year of the event, BrüFrou Fest is a beer festival that pairs culinary greatness with craft beer deliciousness to create an event that is a favorite among beer lovers! The event takes place in downtown Denver at the Tivoli Brewery/Student Union Building out doors and features pairings of craft beer and food while also offering fun things like live music and games! If you fancy yourself a food/beer lover, it may be worth checking out this event in July!
4. Colorado Brewers Rendezvous - 7/8 at the Riverside Park in Salida, CO
The Colorado Brewers Rendezvous is a one day brewfest that offers a huge range of delicious craft beer and a beautiful mountain town backdrop. The event takes place in downtown Salida and offers beers from over 75 Colorado Breweries and over 300 beer samples available. This is the 21st annual Brewer Rendezvous and will have beer, food options and other fun events at the fest. Salida also offers quite a bit of beauty so visiting the city is another great plus of this event!
3. Denver Summer Brewfest - 7/28-7/29 at Mile High Station in Denver, CO
With over 50 breweries attending and 2 different days for the event, the Denver Summer Brewfest is a great event to attend. The breweries can change each day so make sure to view which breweries you want to try and visit the day with the most available! We loved the great beers paired with live music and some great food options in last years event and hope it gets even better for 2017. The location of Mile High Station is a bit on the smaller side when it is full but should be set up for a great time during the event. The food options available at the event are tasty and the quality of breweries with the great environment of the event are the top reasons this should be on your list of brewfests to attend!
2. Hops in the Hangar - 8/12 at the Wings Over The Rockies Museum in Denver, CO
One of our favorite events we attended last year was the beerfest Hops in the Hangar which takes place in, you guessed it... a hangar! This event offers several delicious local beers, food and all inside of an aircraft hangar, complete with aircraft and an X-Wing! They also had a ton of show cars for attendees to admire and enjoy. The beer makes you come to the event but the environment and fun are what keep you coming back. The ticket includes a meal and access to the beers but you also get to have fun with their games and events through out the fest! Check out this great beerfest and get your tickets before it's sold out!
1. Telluride Blues & Brews - 9/15-9/17 at the Town Park in Telluride, CO
This event is one of the more talked about beerfests in Colorado, the Telluride Blues & Brews Fest! This event takes place over 3 days and includes a slew of amazing musicians and breweries. With 56+ brewery offerings to try and several food booths available, you will become enchanted by the views and sounds around you as you enjoy a delicious beer. The blues music is played by several groups throughout the day and night in an event that B.B. King himself spoke about, saying "Out of the 90 different countries I've been to, I've never seen anything more beautiful than what you have here". The views, the brews and the blues will get you going in this amazing event later this year!
