Because I felt like local Beer scouting excursion.
I didn’t go out until 430pm, got home at 10:30pm
Worst part was actually 30min wait for bus, and 10 min stops between stops on the train. Added up to almost 2 hours for a lowsey 35 min public transit ride. On the way back, there was a “medical emergency” delay which we saw at the stop-some dude who literally shrugged off a limp and walked away with med staff at MGH.
OK but beer: In order of rows of photos above:
1 - Trillium. It taste like you are drinking a flower Ale. its considered the best in the usa if not the world, new location in Boston by south station and PAXeast
2 - a hike but Hobo Brewry house(brewry is actually in Woburn). Boom Sauce is my fav, tap was delicious, but I ordered fries…the bartender nodded at me and promptly did NOT put the order in, the kitchen guys were looking like they were waiting to work, and the bill was 8$ for 1 beer and a seat for 40 min. Don’t go there for any food
3- Roxy’s barcade called “A4cade” , my favorite local waste of time. Beer is local but limited. Food is fast and yum. Kitty stamp approved on burger. The tokens from other barcades work here (like nyc, vermont, etc). Plus the staff is friendly and the games are classic. The music was mostly Dave Lee Roth or Van Halen, Scorpions, Deep Purple … I drooled my way out. but to get IN you must be 21.
After all that, a starbucks stop, then ice cream.
After all, the whole day I had 2 eggs,bacon,- bread….16 hours ago, the fries at Roxys was a boost.(had burger LAST time, with Starlightslk).
still hungry, but spent the money saved.
Starlightslk still off on part 1 of 3 weeks away for work. She has it hard too atm
so Foxy Friday to me, long terrible bad week. ….
