Decided to try my hand at Breyer customization. Here's a 1999 warmblood stablemate that I modified to look like my friend's horse, Goose. It was originally a solid bay horse that I scraped the paint off of using an X-acto knife, making sure to capture his haunted doll eyes with fresh paint.

Wixom, Breyer's big chonky draft mare, got a new mane, tail, feathers and ears from fellow artist Laura Skillern Sailer, and then I gave her this beautiful black roan blanket appaloosa paint job! I had a lot of fun pulling out all the details like mottling and striped hooves.

Sitting in bed right next to my collection of Stablemate Shetlands has led me to the conclusion that I totally forgot to post photos of this little aquisition from Breyerfest this year
I don't remember what room from the Clarion I bought him from and I have no idea who the artist is. His tail is marked with what looks like DW 06 so if any of yall have any idea I'd like to know who to credit. I legit love this little guy!
Decided to be brave and take my first custom Picasso to a live show. So I added a few more details - especially the eyes/face - and some more shading, mane/tail details ect.
I think he’s just about at where I can show him proudly … he’s not perfect and I don’t think he’ll place but I don’t want to show up with something I don’t think is the best I can do right now!
