We talkin Yandere Dev.

So another set of allegations have been made against the creator of Yandere Simulator, and these ones are evidently concrete enough that even he can't weasel his way into calling them fake or hate. Imo, a long time coming.

Yandere content is a lot like BDSM in the sense that consent should be placed above all else. It contains a lot of dark acts, psychological "issues", and violence that should not be forced upon those who are not keen to read or see it. Minors cannot consent. And yet, a large portion of his fan base are minors.

As a huge enjoyer of yandere content myself, and someone who unfortunarly played this game in midde school, I cannot express enough how glad I am that his project is now on the road to dying, and how much I hope that it remains on that road. Several larger youtubers that played the game regularly like Kubz Scouts (or however they're spelled) have said they're no longer going to play it, and many of the team is leaving, such as the voice actors and volunteers. Good.

I don't have the receipts to share, personally, but there are multiple videos out there for you to see yourselves from creators, some victims and some just compiling the evidence, if you look for "yandere dev controversy" on YouTube.

Take that with his previously incel/misogynistic behavior, his constant sexualization of many of his characters, and his previous fanfics where he writes about forced intimacy. I read a lot of noncon. But I don't then make a game based on high schoolers using PANTY SHOTS as currency. No, they aren't all 18. Because one of the "18" year old characters has a younger sister...who is also 18? Make it make sense.

If you are a minor, or you know minors who enjoy this sandbox of a game, please ensure that you know what kind of manipulator is the one designing it.

unpopular opinion but i don't think cas would be 100% happy as a human.

he IS still an angel and no matter what repulsion he has towards Heaven laws and "government" he DOES love his siblings, and wants to build a good paradise, and believes there are good angels out there too. He never shows any rejection towards his angelic self, he wants his grace, he wants his wings, he wants to be able to heal people, they are an intrinsic part of who he is and it doesn't make him love dean/sam/jack ANY less for not wanting to lose that. "cas chose to become human because then he can feel like he really belongs in the family" ?????? you shouldn't rip off parts of yourself to fit in, and I'm sure as hell deansamjack wouldn't love him any less for being an angel

JUST. let him have autonomy. let him embrace his love for dean and humanity AND his love for angels and his desire to still be one. he doesn't need to choose one or the other. and canon doesn't have any indications that cas wants to stop being an angel or that he's happier without his grace and with burned wings.

btw this isn't a fight post and i have no interest in debating, you can have any headcanons you want and I'm not trying to change that, so don't try to convince me or prove me wrong because it'll be an immediate block
