Catherine Wheel: 1995 Interview with Rob and Brian
Catherine Wheel - Broken Head We FURY THINGS were daydreaming today about dream producers to work with, Gil Norton came up. The man always does a stellar job; his tracks have so much power and impact. I immediately think of his Catherine Wheel records, Chrome and Happy Days. I'm a massive fan of those sexy, drifty, intense soundscapes. As I told the FURYs, I saw them in Denver, CO, on the Happy Days tour, and they played a 20-minute version of "Black Metallic" that melted my face to the roof of my ass' rocketship. This track, from Chrome, was the first song on the CW mixtape which my friend Sean made for my car in high school.
