The Queen + Adam Lambert concert was amazing
Highlights
- Everyone doing the wave at the start
- the emblem lifting up
- starting with a medley of all of the early hits
- Adam sitting on a piano, legs crossed and with a fan with more sass in his pinky than I have in my body for Killer Queen
- Rogers precious smile and still hearing him kill it in I’m in Love With My Car
- Songs like Keep Yourself Alive, Doin’ alright, etc.
- A giant freaking gear circling around everyone’s heads
- The screens and slides overall throughout the whole thing are beautiful and give the show an extra kick- especially the Metropolis clips, footage from the moon landing, and the robot!!!
- Love of My Life, of course, was magical and beautiful. As well as 39. And seeing Brian interact with the audience and sing and play will make you cry
- Speaking of Brian, tonight he basically did a small hop on one foot and in the later part wore a Freddie shirt with the most precious smile 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
- everyone losing it over Fat Bottomed Girls
- there is a split second where you think it miiiight be over then they’re like “no, bitch no” and return back
- Adams costumes. And his energy and movement onstage! And popping out onstage with a motorcycle for Bicycle Race and draping himself over it
- Roger still has his bright eyes and the sweetest smile that looks the same since the 70s
- the frickin’ LIGHTS!!!! They’re gorgeous througout- And during Who Wants To Live Forever they become rainbow lights for a bit with the background of candles and I was crying in the club
- The other members of the crew getting featured and named
- THE DISCO FOR DEAKY!!!
- Brian playing Dvorak and Tchaikovsky on a big “meteor” onstage complete with glowing planets from the ceiling was absolutely gorgeous and one of the most lovely onstage moments I ever saw. Period. And he plays it as melodically and beautifully- a surprise for using electro guitar!!
- constant change of shirts and costumes
- the clip of Freddie’s ay-os from Wembley
- Crazy Little Thing Called Love was fuuuun!!
- The Show Must Go On was so powerful, and knowing the full history I was ready to cry yet you see Roger and Brian smiling so brightly
- people of literally every generation and ability and gender jamming and singing along
It’s an amazing experience and no other rock concert can even compare with it!!!
