(Hopefully by this point you’ve finished all 126 minutes of ‘P.S. I Love You’, the kind of person who isn’t bothered by spoilers, or are just deciding if you still want to keep watching.)

Ah! I get now why Sharon was so annoyed with Denise for triggering her PFD. Because she doesn’t want any harm to come to her baby!
(Is Denise just stubborn? Or was she still upset over losing her cosmetics case? Or maybe the fact that she didn’t want to lose her last cost of her favourite nail polish?)

HIGHLIGHT:
EXT. ROWBOAT - DAY
DENISE's personal flotation device inflates as she falls over to one side of the boat while HOLLY and SHARON fall over on the other.
HOLLY laughs and tries to sit up.
HOLLY notices something missing.
HOLLY
What happened to our oars?
DENISE looks over to her side and seems one of the oars way out of reach. Her cosmetics case also floats nearby.
SHARON sees the second oar.
SHARON
Oh my God.
A moment passes when they realise their predicament.
SHARON
Help!
HOLLY looks around worriedly. No other vessels nearby.
ALL THREE
Help!!!!! Help!
Their voices echo throughout the lake as their boat rocks and bobs on the water.
EXT. ROWBOAT - LATER
The three are now seated together a blanket on their laps. DENISE is in the middle with HOLLY on her right and SHARON on her left.
DENISE looks at her newly painted nails and sighs.
DENISE
I hate cosmetics companies.
Her two friends have no idea what to say. Quite odd to bring up given their current predicament.
DENISE
They get you addicted to ther perfect lipstick or nail polish and then six months later, they discontinue it...
HOLLY reaches over to take a look at DENISE's nails.
DENISE
You have to buy your favourite colors like you're storing up for the apocalypse. That was my last bottle of this.
SHARON shakes her head.
SHARON
I think that one of us should swim ashore and it should be the one who's already inflated.
DENISE
Okay, no, that's good. Here!
She triggers SHARON's PFD. SHARON screams in response and glares at the perpetrator as it inflates.
HOLLY is just smiling an enjoying the scenery. Glancing at her two friends bicker but is surprisingly zen.
DENISE
There, go swim ashore.
SHARON
Was that absolutely necessary?
DENISE
Yeah, now you can swim ashore.
SHARON
Are you happy I inhaled all these toxins?
DENISE
You jump in!
DENISE points towards the water.
HOLLY
Stop fighting! You're acting like babies!
DENISE reaches and triggers HOLLY's PFD. HOLLY tries to stop her by it's too late. She now too is inflated.
DENISE
Shut up!
SHARON looks over at HOLLY.
SHARON
Nice.
EXT. ROWBOAT - DUSK
The boat continues rocking and bobbing and the three women sit silently. They now have their rain jackets and hoods on.
HOLLY
I think we'll eventually drift towards the shore.

My verdict of the film: 6/10
Link to the timestamp commentary: None (I would consider doing something for a rewatch depending on requests)
A Formal Review: Hopefully it’ll be up this week!
More of my comments about the film: None as of yet...
Brian McGrath (2 Broke Girls, Rush Hour, Crit Juice) spends his Christmas with me since he'll be traveling day of. We also talk about his almost decade as a student at the University of Arizona, insisting on jobs at the behest of well-intentioned parents and many other things.
