Plot: The All-School Picnic is Sunday, and every student must enter at least one sports event. Tino, having spent his whole life hiding his athletic ineptitude, is terrified. The group works together to find a sport at which Tino doesn't stink. Unfortunately it's horseshoes, the geekiest of all sports. Trivia: This episode was written by Brian Palermo, who was instrumental in the meeting that inspired Doug Langdale's final version of Carver. In 1998 Palermo was allowed to use the space on off nights at the Groundlings Theater, so he did a sketch show with Langdale (still available to watch on Youtube) that allowed him to casually meet Phil LaMarr backstage. Langdale felt LaMarr was perfect for the role of Carver, so the character - who was originally intended to be Egyptian - was changed to more closely resemble him.
