hola rockeros ~ this one goes out to Brian Stow!
It took the length of a baseball season, but Giants fan Bryan Stow reached a major milestone Tuesday in his long recovery from a brain injury he suffered March 31 in an attack outside Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
With his family at his side, Brian Stow left San Francisco General Hospital Tuesday morning, bound for a long-term rehabilitation center.
At the end of a recent hospital visit by Bruce Bochy, Stow told the Giants manager, "Bye. I love you," the family said. And before a visit by one of Stow's favorite bands, Queensryche, he looked at them through the doorway of his room and said, "They are all dressed up. I'm not dressed up." Later, Stow asked the band to dedicate a song to him.
