Fountains Of Wayne - I Want An Alien For Christmas
Welp. It’s official. Honestly I’m glad after the hot mess that was Season 2. I lay this cancellation squarely at the feet of the OG “fans” who bullied Young and the creative team into torpedoing the fun and creativity of S1 to instead cater to the OG’s demands. Hope y’all are happy and proud of yourselves.
Too many characters, too many cast changes, too many stories to do any of them any justice. It was a muddled mess full of missed opportunities and wasted talent from some amazing cast members and shouldn’t be continued.
I hope that Young will take an important lesson from this series so that in his next project he’ll follow his own vision rather than trying to please the “masses.”
All that being said? I honestly think the Fate fans love the show and do it better justice than anyone on the official creative team. And we aren’t going anywhere and have a ton of stories left to tell. We’re good. Onward. ❤️
