Sitting on the porch step, you gazed around at the other party-goers. Lifting your drink to your lips, you let out a sigh.
“What’re you doing out here?” Letty’s voice rang through your ears before she sat down.
You shrugged, swirling the continents of your drink that you were nursing.
Letting out a sigh, she nodded gazing at the people all around you. A comfortable silence fell between you, the mindless babble of inebriated people filled the air.
“When are you two going to stop dancing around your feelings?” She questioned turning to face you slightly with a raised eyebrow.
Frowning, you shook your head. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Letty scoffed as she rolled her eyes. “Neither does he.” She muttered.
Quietly gasping, you widened your eyes turning to face her. Your jaw falling slack slightly.
“What are you talking about?”
“Why don’t you ask Brian.” She spoke without breaking her gaze from the people on the sidewalk and on the grass.
It was a typical Saturday night at the Toretto house. Dom was throwing his typical Saturday party with the usual suspects invited. However, that didn’t stop unknown people who had caught wind of the party to show up.
“You should go talk to him.” She spoke breaking the silence. “He’s in the kitchen.”
Humming to yourself, you nodded your head. Lifting your drink to your lips, you pondered on what Letty revealed before you got up from the step and made your way inside.
Walking into the kitchen, you felt your heart drop. Brian was surrounded by women that you felt were much prettier than you. Dropping your gaze, you shifted from foot to foo.
“Y/N?” Brian’s voice rang through your ears.
Gasping, his sudden voice caught you by surprise. You hadn’t thought he would notice you. Lifting your gaze you met with a pair of ocean ones directly in front of you.
“Hey.” You muttered, attempting to be nonchalant.
“I was looking for you.” Brian spoke scratching the back of his neck. A pink tint danced along his cheeks.
“Oh.” You nodded, feeling a grin creep along your lips as heat danced along your cheeks. Butterflies erupted in your stomach. “Here I am.”
Brian grinned while chuckling. “There you are.”
Taking a step closer, the close proximity caused the butterflies to erupt again. This they were more prominent. In that moment, you were grateful for the booming music that gave Brian an excuse to be closer to you than normal.
“Was there something you wanted to tell me?” You questioned tilting your head slightly as you gazed at him.
Glancing at you, Brian quickly looked away as he began fidgeting with his hands. “I, uh..” His voice trailed off.
Before you could wrap your mind around it, someone bumped harshly into Brian causing him to collide with you. His hands landing on your shoulders allowing him to keep himself steady, while yours dart out to his waist.
“Sorry man.” The man chuckled as he nodded at Brian before continuing his way into the kitchen.
Mumbling something under his breath, you couldn’t stop the giggle that made it’s way past his lips. Turning to face you, Brian started laughing with you.
Once the moment sizzled down, you sensed Brian’s hesitation along with his discomfort.
“Brian!” A perky blonde shrieked as she made her way towards you. “There you are.” She spoke making her way in front of him.
Removing his hands, he took a step away from you as he cleared his throat. Frowning, you felt your heart sink. Sighing, you shook your head.
Turning on your heel, you successfully made your way to the living room. Making your way back to the porch, you decided you were going to leave.
“Wait.” Brian spoke gently grasping your wrist preventing you from retreating.
Groaning, you rolled your eyes. “Why should I?”
You allowed him to gently tug you back in front of him. His hand not letting you go.
“Because…Because..” Brian was at a loss for words.
“Why have you been avoiding me?” You questioned meekly. Your eyebrows scrunched up.
Opening and closing his mouth he couldn’t seem to find the right words.
Scoffing, you shook your head. “I should go.” Gently tugging your wrist free you were able to take a step back putting more space between you.
Sighing, Brian dropped his gaze to his feet. Nodding his head he frowned as he scrunched his eyebrows together.
It didn’t take long before you heard Brian call for you once again. Groaning, you rolled your eyes before you turned on your heel to face him.
Rushing towards you, he held the look of determination. Once he was in front of you, his firm hands gently grasped your jaw angling your face upward.
Gasping, you grasped his wrists in your hands. Brian’s nose nuzzled yours as his breath danced along your lips. Slowly leaning in, he gave you time to pull away.
Placing his lips on yours, the butterflies returned. Heat erupted in your chest. Closing the small space left between you, Brian kissed you with more confidence as he enveloped your lips. Sinking his teeth into your bottom lip, he sucked it into his mouth gently.
Pulling away, he rested his forehead against yours as your breath mingled together.
“I can’t hide it anymore.”

Summary: The reader and Brian have a different type of friendship. What happens when the tension is finally too much?
Brian O’Conner Masterlist
Packing your go bag, you knew it was only a matter of time before you got the call. Between knowing your group of friends and watching the news, you could feel in your bones that you would be getting ‘The Call.’
There was never a dull moment with your friends. Whether it’s breaking the law to working with the law, there was no shortage of missions that you were pulled in on.
Placing the strap over your shoulder, you gazed around your apartment. The dreadful feeling of not know if or when you’d be back washed over you. It wasn’t a life or death mission, no. Rather a would you be welcomed back with open arms or have to spend years on the run again.
Your friends weren’t necessarily criminals, just petty theft from L.A. That more often than not seemed to get caught up in the grand scheme of things.
Reaching to turn the light off, you smiled to yourself. Making your way to your car, you put your bag in the trunk before turning the engine on.
Ring. Ring.
Grinning to yourself, you knew this was it. This would be the call. Fluttering erupted in your stomach while adrenaline seeped through your veins.
“Hello?”
There was a chuckle on the other end. “How’ve you been, Y/N?”
Rolling your eyes, the corner of your mouth lifted. “Where’s the mission, Roman?”
“Damn girl, it’s always business with you and no pleasure huh?”
Giggling you shook your head, even though he couldn’t see it. “The location, Roman.”
The sweet melodic tone of his hearty laugh sang through your ears. A sound you had grown to miss. “Brazil.”
“I shouldn’t have expected anything less.” You chuckled. “On my way.”
——
31 hours later.
Pulling into the garage, you noticed that you were the last one to show up. The others had been there for at least a day or two before you. Your heart began beating rapidly as you put it in park and got out of the vehicle.
“Look who finally decided to show up.” Vince’s voice teased, approaching you with open arms.
Grinning, you allowed him to pull you in for a warm hug. “Hey, Vince.” You murmured into his shoulder.
“Long time, no see, kid.” He responded only loud enough for you to hear. One of his hands cradling the back of your head, while the other was wrapped firmly around your waist. Heat blossomed in your chest at his sweet words.
Unwrapping himself from you, he allowed the rest of the team their turn in greeting you. Once they were done, you were faced with Brian. Your relationship with him was different from the others.
Gazing at him, he sent you a toothy smile, before pulling you in for an embrace. One, that nobody else had given you. Wrapping his arms tightly around your waist, he eliminated any remaining space between you. Lacing your arms around his shoulders, slightly nuzzled his neck Brian’s colonge invaded your senses. Standing there, wrapped in him, it was as if you were the only two in the universe. The warmth he radiated causing you to let out a content sigh as a sense of security washed over you.
“I’ve missed you.” He whispered into your hair.
Grinning in his neck, you mumbled a reply.
“If you two love birds are done canoodling, we have a job.” Teji teased.
You didn’t have to see him to know he had a sly smirk upon his lips. Groaning, you relucatantly withdrew yourself from him, feeling of Brian tightenting his arms not going unnoticed.
Standing beside your friends, everyone had their attention on the screen before them. Teji was speaking about the high tech camera’s while Han was pointing out the need for speed. While they were emersed in the problems, Brian stood beside you, every so often he would brush against you causing a smile to appear upon your lips.
“We’re going to need some cars.” Dom spoke, turning to gaze at you and Brian. Nodding your heads, you made your way to your space quickly changing into one of the most skimpiest skin tight dresses you could find, while pairing it with some heels.
Walking out of the room, you instantly felt the eyes of everyone in the room. It didn’t take long for wolf whistles and cheers erupted. Making your way towards the group, you added a little pep in your step.
“My, my, that’s what you’ve been hiding from us all these years?” Roman taughted as his eyes nearly buldged out of his head.
Rolling your eyes, you turned to giselle silently asking for her help with your hair. Before you knew it she appeared behind you, instantly pinning your hear up.
Once it was time to go, Brian stood before you with a tint of pink along his cheeks. Clearing his throat, he reached behind him and scratched his neck while shifting from foot to foot. Gazing at him intently, butterflies erupted in your stomach while a giddiness feeling enveloped you. With your clasped hands in front of your thighs, you tapped them absentmindedly as you figdeted waiting for Brian to say something.
Biting your lip, minutes felt like hours. Brian open and closed his mouth several times in attempt to say something only for the words to disspate on his tongue. Frowning, he let out a defeated sigh. Manuvering towards the car door, he opened it for you. The giddy feeling you had felt was quickly replaced with one of disappointment. Sliding into the car, you muttered a soft ‘thanks,’ before pulling your phone out.
Little did you both know, the rest of the group watched idly by as they held hope either of you would make a move on the other. Once brian opened the door in silence, all hope had been lost as a quiet whine sounded from them.
———
“You guys ready?” Dom questioned grinning to Brian once he pulled into the Rio street race.
“Is that even a question?” You giggled, rolling your eyes. “Come on, boys. Let’s go get us some cars.”
Exiting the car, you gazed around at the comradery. It was similar yet different to the ones in L.A. The slight reminder of where you were and what you were doing gave you a quick wave of homesickness.
“Hey, you okay?” Brian questioned, his expression etched with one of concern.
“Hm? Oh, yeah, I’m fine.” You responded with a grin.
Following the two men, it didn’t go unnoticed that other street racers stared at you. Some having the confidence to catcall you.
Frowning, Brian moved to walk beside you in attempt to shield you from the view of men that were across the isle.
“I can take care of myself.” You rolled your eyes.
“I know, but you shouldn’t have to.” Brian spoke softly causing butterflies to erupt in your stomach.
After some time had passed, the rest of the team showed up ready for the plan. Growing bored, you decided to play with the Brazilan men. Walking away from the group, you made sure to sway your hips with each step adding a slight bounce allowing your breasts to jiggle atop the hem of your dress.
It didn’t take long before a lengthy, broad man caught your hand twirling you to a halt. Lifting your hand to his lips, he placed a kiss to the back of it.
“Voce esta otimo.” He spoke, his husky voice spending tingles throughout your body.
——
“You look great.”
——
“Obrigao.” You grinned, allowing him to place his hands on the small of your waist beginning to tug you into closer proximity.
——
“Thank you.”
——
While he was moving you both, everything seemed to move in slow motion, even though you knew it wasn’t. Pressing your chest against his, your breath hitched in your throat. Leaning down, he nudged the shell of your ear with his nose, gently tracing the outside.
The rough callous hands that belonged to the stranger was quickly replaced by a warm pair. Gasping, you knew who’s they were. Gently yanking you backward, your back collided with a firm chest.
“She’s not interested.” Brian growled at the man.
Chuckling, a toothy grin made it’s way upon his lips. “She sure seemed interested to me.” His accident thick.
Snapping your eyes to the strangers, you sent him a glare. Turning in Brian’s arms slightly, you gazed at him. “Come on, it’s not worth it.”
“No, but you are.”
Fluttering returned in your stomach upon his relevation. The feeling of your blood boiling quickly replacing any happy go lucky feeling you had. Groaning, you removed yourself from the situation with both men.
Stomping away, Brian’s firm hand clasped around your wrist preventing you from retreating any further.
“Y/N, wait-“
Twirling around on your heels, you yanked your wrist free before crossing your arms along your chest.
“You can’t say things like that and not do anything!” You exclaimed frustration taking over.
“Say what?”
Before you could think about it the words slipped passed your lips.
“Say things that make want to kiss you!”
Brians eyes grew wide while his jaw fell slightly. His closed off posture quickly slipping to one of shock.
“Fuck.” You muttered quickly, “Just…Just forget I said anything.”
Turning back around you raced away from Brian as fast as your heels would allow. Leaving a confused Brian in your wake.

“Babe?” Brian called through your apartment, as he shut the door.
“In here!” You called, as you attempted to shove a pile of clothes on the top shelf of your closet.
The sound of Brian's chuckle announced his presence. “Need some help?”
“Please.” You spoke, defeat overwhelming you.
Placing a hand on your waist, while the other moved to support the pile of clothes, he gently pushed you out of the way.
Leaning against the door frame, you watched with admiration at Brian as he took over placing your clothes high up.
Your mind quickly switching to the dark side reminding you of your past. Shaking in fear, you moved to sit on the edge of your bed. Letting out a heavy sigh, as you tried to rid your mind of these thoughts.
In your previous relationship, he had been abusive in all ways. If he had to help he would make you pay. If you had broken something, you would pay. Seeking help from a therapist after the breakup, they had informed you that there would be instances like these.
Closing your eyes you began breathing in through your nose, you exhaled through your mouth.
“Hey,” Brian spoke in a soft tone. His hands gently caressing your thighs. “It’s okay, you’re okay.” He muttered as he rested his forehead against yours. “I love you, we’re okay.”
Tearing began escaping your eyes as you listened to his soothing words. “I’m sorry.” You sobbed.
Catching your tears with his thumbs, he placed gentle kisses along your face.
“No baby.” He breathed. “There’s nothing to be sorry for.”
Nodding your head, you allowed silence to fall between you. Once you were ready, you opened your eyes. Greeting Y/E/C was a pair of ice blue ones.
“Let’s get something to eat, yeah?” He questioned his expression etched with one of concern.
“Please.” You croaked.
Exiting the bedroom, he allowed you to be alone to gain composure. Once you felt that you were ready, you made your way to the kitchen. Rounding one of you walked straight into one of your end tables that housed a vase.
The sound of shattering glass coursed through the air.
“Babe!” Brian yelled, rounding the corner, immediately halting his movements, gazing between you and the vase.
When he gazed at you, you stood frozen in place like a deer in headlights. Something snapped in your head, before you profusely started apologizing, dropping to your knees. Rapidly, you attempted to grasp pieces of shattered glass.
“Babe?” Brian questioned in disbelief. “Babe!”
Dropping to his knees, he quickly made his way beside you. Grasping your wrist he halted your moments.
“I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean it!” You spoke as your voice began quivering. “Please don’t hurt me!” You shrieked.
Brian gazed at you with a slacked jaw. Quickly, he took the pieces of the vase from your hand as he wrapped his arms around you. He placed kisses on the top of your head as you began sobbing.
“Babe, I’m not mad. It’s not your fault.” Brian spoke in a calming tone. “You’re okay. Nothing’s going to happen to you while I’m around.” He rubbed his hand up and down your back.
After some time passed, you pulled away from Brian but staying close enough to keep his grasp around you. “I’m sorry.”
“You are really brave you know that?” Brian spoke, tears filling his eyes.
Your jaw falling slightly, as you gazed at the man before you.
Pulling you gently towards him, he placed his lips on yours in a sweet kiss.
“I will never hurt you. You’re safe with me.” He whispered as you tucked yourself under his chin and in his lap.

Summary: Being Dom's best friend you were always there to get him out of trouble. Things become complicated after Letty's death, and the threat of Braga looming. (Based on FastFour)
Brian O’Conner Masterlist
"Hello?"
"It's Dom-"
"I'll be right there."
Once the phone call ended, you raced around your room grabbing any article of clothing that could fit in your duffle bag. Sighing, you knew something big had to be going on if you were getting a call about Dom. He always tried to keep you out of whatever job he was doing, often claiming his world wasn't for you.
Growing up, you befriended Letty. She was quick to become your best friend. Letty was the one to introduce you to your love of cars. It was something that you were both able to bond over while allowing you to spend a lot of time together. After a while, she introduced you to her guy friend Dominic. From that moment on, the three of you were inseparable.
Dom was quick to take on the father role in your life. He had insisted that you go to college since the rest of them didn't. He didn't want you to end up in their world and wanted you to make something of yourself. After months of discussion, you decided to go to college. It was only a few hour drive away from home. Dom had rarely called you when he was in trouble as he didn't want you to get distracted from your studies. Whenever you were home for the summer's Letty and Dom, taught you all about street racing.
Shaking your head you cleared your mind from the memories as you continued scurrying around your room. Grabbing your black leather jacket, you threw on a crop top before lacing up your boots.
Making your way to your apartment door, you gazed around as the thought of not knowing when you were coming back, crossed your mind. Living in your apartment had never been your home. You always considered wherever you were with the crew to be your home.
Shutting the door, you bounded down the stairwell, before you crossed the threshold to the parking garage. Opening your car door, you tossed your duffle bag inside, before climbing in. Your car was a black Dodge Charger that Dom had gotten you as a going-away present.
Pressing the gas with one foot, you kept your other on the brake. The sound of your engine bounced off the cement walls. Your heart began pumping faster, as a giddy feeling bubbled up. It had been a while since you were able to drive as you had with the crew.
---
In no time, you pulled into the crew's hangout. Making your way to the area where everyone was, you could hear the familiar voice of Roman echoed off the walls.
As you walked through the threshold, everyone's eyes moved to you. Grinning you looked at your friends.
"Hey, guys."
"Y/N!" Tej exclaimed, his voice filled with excitement. Rushing towards you, he wrapped his arms firmly around your waist, before lifting you off the ground as he twirled around.
The sound of your giggles filled the air.
"I've missed you, Y/N." He spoke placing you back on your feet. Pulling away he kept his hands on your waist.
"I've missed you too, T." You grinned.
"Let the poor girl go, Tej." Roman's voice rang through your ears.
Giggling you turned toward his voice.
"Don't worry, I missed you too." You giggled, throwing your arms around his shoulders before pulling him into a tight hug.
"Nice to see you, Pipsqueak."
You groaned before rolling your eyes.
"Oh, this is Brian," Tej spoke from behind you, gesturing to the dirty blond in front of you. His piercing blue eyes were the first thing you noticed.
"Brian this is Y/N." He introduced.
"So you're the Y/N, I've heard so much about." His husky voice whirled in your ears, as he extended his hand.
"And you're the FBI street racer, I've heard about." You sassed, ignoring his hand before you made your way towards Mia.
As you walked past Brian, you didn't miss the frustrated sigh that passed his lips.
Once you were caught up on what had happened, you were overwhelmed with sadness. Letty had taken on a motherly role for you, she was someone you trusted with your life, someone you could go to with anything.
"I'm sorry." You quickly excused yourself, as your vision became blurred by tears that were threatening to fall.
Rushing out, you had barely made it before a sob raked through your body. A pair of firm hands gripped your shoulder turning you around. You were face to face with the new crew member, Brian. At that moment you didn't care. Propelling yourself into him, you cried into his shoulder, as he wrapped his firm arms around your waist. One of his hands began moving up and down your back in an attempt to soothe you.
"It'll be okay." He muttered in your ear.
"How can you say that?" You asked not bothering to remove yourself from the crook of his neck.
"Because he has you." He spoke softly. "With you by his side, he can overcome anything."
As you let his words sink in, fireworks erupted in your stomach.
---
After that moment, you and Brian had grown closer than you expected. While you were becoming closer, you were developing feelings for the cop.
"It's someone named Braga," Dom spoke, his voice hollow.
Flinching you nodded. Dom had planned to win a street race for a chance to speak with Braga. A new drug lord was in town. With each passing day of Letty's death, Dom became someone you didn't know.
Sighing, you often confided in Brian about your feelings causing you to spend more and more time with him. He was quickly becoming someone you trusted.
"I have to go with him." You spoke standing up from the couch.
"Y/N, it's too dangerous," Brian spoke quickly standing, his voice filled with concern.
Whirling around, you turned to face him. Fury coursing through your body.
"Don't tell me it's too dangerous." You spat. "Would you tell the guys that?"
Brian sighed before frowning.
"Exactly." You shook your head.
"I just... I just don't want you to get hurt."
You raised an eyebrow at him. "Again, I ask, would you tell one of the guys that?"
He frowned in response.
"Exactly." You huffed crossing your arms over your chest. "Why are you so against me doing this? I'll be with Dom."
"I care about you!" He exclaimed as his voice was full of frustration. "Dom, isn't really, Dom at the moment." He ran a hand along his face.
---
"This is the hangout. Braga is around here somewhere." The man spoke as he lead the small group of people out of the elevator.
Darting your eyes around the room, you attempted to search for Dom or Brian. Both of them were here after the street race, neither expected you would show up.
A sigh of relief fell from your lips as you spotted them both at the bar.
"I'll take a beer." You muttered to the bartender.
Making your way to the opposite end of the bar, you took a seat beside Brian. Immediately both men's eyes fell upon you.
"Y/N." Dom hissed. "What do you think you're doing?" He moved promptly to the other side of you, so you were boxed in between them.
You shrugged before taking a swig of your beer. "The same thing you guys are."
"Do you have any idea-"
"You think I'd let my best friends do something stupid without me?" You questioned with a raised eyebrow.
You didn't miss the blush that made it's way to Brian's cheeks.
Dom scoffed. "Don't be stupid. Go home."
"No." You spoke in a firm voice.
It was Dom's turn to raise an eyebrow.
"It's not up for discussion," Dom spoke.
"Exactly." You challenged not breaking eye-contact.
Dom let out a frustrated huff. "Whatever."
---
Braga had decided to allow you and Brian to do the job along with Dom. As you sat in your cars inside the semi-truck, you couldn't help but feel uneasy. Glancing around the truck, you felt an intense pair of eyes on you. Dom was staring back at you. His expression was unreadable.
The small team that Braga had assembled, was driving through country roads in Mexico. Once the team had gotten the items, you were driving through the desert to the board that separated the United States and Mexico. Everyone was ordered to stay information while driving. It was pitch black out when they had decided to make the move.
Gisele's voice began becoming frantic as the team was spotted on the border patrol's camera's. It quickly became a race against time. Your heart began beating rapidly at the realization that you might get caught, knowing deep down that you were transporting drugs for Braga.
Once the team pulled into the small area in the mountains, everyone got out of their cars. In a matter of minutes, one of the minions for Braga had pulled a gun out threatening to shoot Dom.
Dom started his car on fire, causing the rest of the cars to start on fire.
The small explosion making everyone fly to the ground. You hit the ground with a muffled thud. As you were flung to the ground, you hit your head causing a small amount of blood to trickle down your face.
"Y/N!" Dom and Brian yelled in unison as they frantically searched for you.
Groaning, you pushed off the ground, before standing up. "I'm here."
Dom rushed towards you, pulling you in for a bone-crushing hug. One of his hands cradled your head, as he placed a gentle kissed on your head.
"I'm sorry, kid." He muttered into your hair.
Brian was quick to pull you in for an unexpected hug. His hug caught you off guard as fireworks erupted in your stomach. Nuzzling his shoulder you inhaled his sent, as comfort and security washed over you allowing you to close your eyes.
Pulling away from his slightly, you gazed upwards at him taking in his ocean eyes. Brian leaned in slightly as if testing the waters. Leaning up towards him, your lips collided. The kiss was short and sweet.
Gasping slightly, you jumped away from him as you realize Dom was around.
"Dom-" You turned to face him.
"So my two best friends, huh?"
A grin made it's way to your lips as you felt heat rise in your cheeks. Turning to face Brian, he was mirroring your expression. Dom threw his arms around your shoulders before he pulled you both away from the firey scene.

Christmas Masterlist
Sitting on the couch, you listened as the rest of the crew talked about going to their hometowns for Christmas. Sighing, your hometown was being hit by a major snowstorm which meant you wouldn’t be able to visit them this year.
The overwhelming feeling of sadness washed over you. As everyone was chatting about their plans, you quietly snuck away to the kitchen. A frustrated huff fell past your lips, as you took a swig of your beer while leaning against the kitchen counter.
“I’ve been thinking.” Brian’s voice spoke as he passed the threshold into the kitchen before he made his way to the fridge getting a beer.
You raised an eyebrow in response.
“Why don’t you come and spend Christmas with my family and me?” He attempted to be nonchalant.
Since joining the crew, you and Brian had become closer than you were with any of the others. He was someone you always counted on, someone you practically spent all your time with.
Choking on your drink you stared at him with confusion. “I’m sorry, what?”
“Yeah, it’ll be fun!” He spoke. “We can go see the Christmas light decorations....”
“I don’t want to intrude.”
Brian scoffed while rolling his eyes. “Pack your bag, we’ll leave tonight.”
---
Once you arrived at Brian’s mom’s house, you couldn’t help the feeling of sticking out like a sore thumb. You hadn’t met anyone of the crew’s parents before, which made you more nervous.
As you exited the car, Brian picked up on your nervousness.
“Hey, don’t be nervous.” He spoke his voice filled with concern.
You scoffed, before rolling your eyes. “Geez, thanks, I’m cured.”
“My mom’s gonna love you.”
“How can you be sure?” You questioned your voice wavering.
Brian moved to stand in front of you. Placing a comforting hand on your forearm, he gave you a gentle squeeze.
“I...”
As you stood in front of him, you became hyper-aware of his ice-blue eyes boring into you. His dirty blond hair becoming more prominent in the porch light that illuminated the night. Becoming aware of how close you were standing, you began to lean into him, Brian quickly mirroring your movements.
“Brian!” The front door swung open revealing Brian’s mom. “You’re here!”
Both of you jumped away from each other as his mom and dad bounded down the porch steps.
“It’s been too long, son.” Brian’s dad spoke clasping a hand on his shoulder in an attempted greeting.
“You must be, Y/N. We’ve heard so much about you!” Brian's mom exclaimed as she pulled you in for a tight hug. Your body immediately tensing underneath the sudden contact.
“Come, you two must be exhausted.”
Nodding your head, you followed Brian’s mom into her house. As you walked in, you were greeted by a group of eyes from practically everyone in his family.
Gulping, you could feel the palms of your hands becoming sweaty.
“Don’t worry.” Brian’s comforting voice whispered in your ear. “They’re gonna love you.”
“Follow me to your room.”
“Room?” You questioned Brian as panic began bubbling inside. “As in singular?”
Brian shared your concerned expression as his gaze was brought back to his mom, opening the door to your shared room.
“Goodnight, you too.”
“Goodnight.” You both simultaneously responded.
Clearing your throat, you looked around the room noticing there was only one bed.
“I’ll take the floor,” Brian spoke as he placed the bags down.
“Don’t be ridiculous.” You rolled your eyes, “I’m gonna change.”
Once you changed, you crawled into one side of the bed making yourself comfortable.
“Are you sure you’re comfortable sharing?” Brian questioned as he stood hesitantly on the open side of the bed.
You hummed while teetering on the edge of consciousness. Brian crawled into the bed practically laying on the edge.
The warmth of the blankets and the warmth radiating off of Brian was enough to push you into dreamland.
---
Waking up, you groaned quietly. Reaching up, you rubbed your eyes as you began coming out of the daze of sleep. Confusion etched along your features as your head was laying on something firm rather than fluffy. Gazing down, you realized you were sleeping with your head on Brian’s chest, while his arm was wound tightly around your waist.
Your subtle movements were enough to wake him up. Groaning he lulled his head to the side.
