Thea and J.P. had more than a little catching up to do. After all, the pair had gone the entire summer without so much as a word (thanks to Micah having taken away all of J.P.’s electronics). They had no way of communicating with one another; and it had driven Thea crazy. She had no idea what had happened to her best friend. She started assuming the worst, especially when he didn’t show up to campus early like he usually did. So now that he was back too, the pair arranged to catch up. She had discovered a new crap film while stuck in hospital; and she couldn’t wait to share it with him while eating popcorn (and throwing it at each other, of course- much to Keeley’s disapproval). It would be just like old times. She knew she needed the laughter and familiarity; and given the new scar she noticed on J.P.’s chest, she figured he would need both those things too. Now all he had to do was show up to her room where she was currently sat on her bed with Angus resting on her lap as she waited.
