​“Oh uh...sorry!” He was exhausted. And clearly more than usual considering he had suddenly stopped paying attention to where he was going and now he made a fool of himself, bumping into someone and nearly stumbling to the ground himself. 

“Sorry I’m just- I’m out of it today. Did I make you drop anything?”

👋 for marinette

      Marinette found herself torn between concern as she lost her tour guide and wanderlust with how tall the skyscrapers were. Some parts, overwhelming as they were, proved absolutely stunning. The United States was different from home, but that was a good thing. Awe struck her eyes with wonder as she passed another billboard, but reality weighed in her stomach like an anchor. That was the same billboard she saw twenty minutes ago...

       She was definitely lost now.

     But a kind hand reached to guide Marinette and pulled her from her aimless path. Relief poured over her, and she smiled sheepishly.

       “ ... I must look really out of place, huh? You haven’t seen a tall man with a gaudy hat leading a Parisian tour group around here, have you? ”

“you’re kinda cute” for marinette

        She’d been idly gesturing about this and that of the most recent trends, going as far as showing off her latest design. Anytime Marinette got carried away, she certainly fell far, far away.

       But a single compliment was enough to push her to a pause and ground her back to Earth.

       “ Me? Did you just say cute? ” Her voice was genuine and held a sense of haste to it. Marinette didn’t receive compliments in such a forward way very often. One hand stopped to gesture toward her chest, and the other was quick to wave off and dismiss the idea.

     “ I think you meant a dork like ab-so-lute-ly adorkable, right? Right? ”

‘Woof’  Daikichi had slipped from his owners gaze. A feat that at this point wasn’t hard. the little dog padded along the sidewalk, not a care in the world. Tail wagging happily. His attention would only be caught when by sheer luck (unluck?) coins fell, sparkling in the sun. Drawing the dog’s attention, happily letting out a bark before rushing to the scene of the accident to claim the coins as his own. Not even noticing the people around him.
