GUYS À La Mode Zine has finally been released, so I am now able to share my piece with you!

Jett’s family, and a lot of other raylings residing in Inkopolis, are Greek, so Jett decided to take Adobo out to a gyro spot. And Scribner and Bryant are there, too.

It was so much fun drawing this piece, and I learned a lot doing it too. And I implore you to check out the rest of the zine and all of its amazing art and writing!

B e b  t i m e

For a while, I’ve sort of been at a loss of what to do with these two, and it has probs shown in some Inktobers and other drawings. At one point I wanted them to just be blind daters who didn’t want to date each other because neither of them wanted to be the big spoon, at another point they had dated but broke up and hated each others’ guts, and at all points it was just a generally convoluted mess. 

So I decided to say “screw it” and just throw them at each other because I like seeing them together. 

Scribner and Bryant met shortly after gaining their squid forms but quickly lost contact. They saw each other in passing every so often, but didn’t reconnect again until Spoon 2 through a turf rivalry. One thing lead to another, including Delpha and Bryant breaking up and the other Stagecrew Kids vouching for Scribner to make a move,,aaaand boom boom now these two are dating. They’ve been slow with getting intimate due to Bryant’s aversion to touch, but they enjoy getting food together and debating about the superior caffeinated beverage.

Whew! Mostly I’m just happy to state what the ground is between these two, but also fluff is nice. Drew this after finishing up some zine pieces, and it was a good mental break. I do hope I can explore their dynamic a bit more, too.
