My name is Margriet – or Mags for short – I’m Dutch, living in the UK and I’m an illustrator who designs and hand-produces sustainable bags and gifts in my London workshop. . . I sometimes get help from my lovely little four-footer Percy who is my wirehaired miniature dachshund and the inspiration for some of my work. . . Since trying my hand at lino cutting, I fell in love with the process, and haven’t stopped creating lino prints since. I’ve also been experimenting with natural dyed fabrics which has been a little trickier for me. . . Next to printing I’m a sucker for country music, going to an Eric Church concert with my sister next year! and I love Audrey Hepburn films . . I’m turning 30 in September, which I’m not ready for, so I decided to stay 29 forever. . .
