Fans Will Not Be In Attendance For The Brickyard 400 in 2020
Many racing fans have wondered if the International Motor Speedway was going to allow fans in attendance for the Brickyard 400 in 2020. On Thursday, June 4, 2020, the International Motor Speedway announced that the Brickyard 400, scheduled for July 5th, 2020, will occur without fans. On July 4th, most of the state of Indiana is scheduled to go into "Stage 5" in their reopening plans, which will allow sporting events with social distancing. However, The International Motor Speedway is located in Marion County which will only be going into "Stage 4" which still prohibits sporting events with fans.
