Wedding Day
Lights Festival Fine Art Bridal session, Grandview, Tx
It was another day in our Photography studio located in North Fort Worth, Texas and we were itching to do a bridal shoot! At IGOR Photography we are always trying to do something different whether it is at a wedding, portrait session or an event, just a little out of the box with creativity and our own personal style and editing .
While scrolling through social media, when my fiancé and I saw this lights festival coming to the Dallas area. Initially we were going to buy tickets for ourselves, it would make for an interesting date night right? Why not make a date night especially tailored for us, a styled bridal shoot it is!
We headed to our favorite bridal boutique located in Burleson, and found the wedding gown and veil that would complete this mini bridal shoot. Featured below: Enza by Maggie Sottero designs. A wedding dress with layered tulle-train and an embezzled belt to accent the waist. To that we added a beautiful cathedral length wedding veil with crystal edge. What a stunning combination!
Technically and logistically this light festival bridal shoot was pretty demanding. We had to carefully set up the right flash lighting to light her up at night without overpowering the glowing light from the lanterns, that was important because we didn't want to kill that beautiful and magically lighted mood.. Another even harder challenge was to time the exposures while avoiding capturing to many people walking around the bride. Like photographing a wedding, we had to get it right the first time, we really didn't have time to do any retakes, but with careful planning and execution we got exactly the shot that we had envision.
Now, let's light the Sky! Our bride Sheridan, was a lovely sight to see. The lanterns weren't the only thing to light the sky that night as many people congratulated her with lighted torches and complimented her beauty, we played with perspective & depth of the many lanterns being set a sail to drift in the night air. It was an amazing fairy tale sight, a beautiful experience!
This fine art bridal shoot for IGOR wedding photography, was a great way to capture the essence of what we love to do in a structured setting and on your wedding day, there are endless possibilities.
A Vintage Maiden | Sandi Currie Bridal Session
LOVED our vintage themed Bridal Session with lovely Sandi!
Sandi & Alex were just married Friday at the Palmer Building. Now that she is a Milhazes, I am so excited to finally be sharing her portraits. These photos were taken at the beautiful UNCC botanical Gardens.
Beauty in the Greens | Ashley Warwick Bridal Session
I had the AMAZING honor of partaking in a memorable wedding this weekend. Ashley Warwick is now Mrs. Murdock! I am so beyond thrilled to share her beautiful bridal portraits. This girl is a Diamond inside and out and an extreme pleasure to work with! Congratulations Ashley!
